Walmart Sues Capital One Over Credit Card Agreement
“Unfortunately, Capital One was consistently unable to meet the customer-service standards required by the contract,” Walmart’s attorneys said in the suit, filed in federal court in Manhattan.
According to the suit, Capital One missed the mark in a number of “critical” customer care categories, such as failing to promptly post transaction information to cardholders’ accounts, and not delivering replacement cards within five days.

A United passenger says she was ‘humiliated’
She said she asked a flight attendant to inform passengers located in her immediate vicinity of her son’s peanut allergy. After some confusion over the request, Mandelbaum told the crew member she had made the same request on another United flight two days earlier. Before takeoff, Mandelbaum says she was summoned to the front plane by a United supervisor, who said her request had been denied.
