Between April 2016 and July 2017 froze gift card balances that were connected to suspected fraud before the balance could be transferred to the fraudsters. United States Attorney’s Office filed a verified complaint and if you were a victim of fraud between those dates and purchased Walmart gift cards you may be eligible for remission. When this was first sent in I assume it was fraud as the website is unsecured, but the website is listed on the justice department website as well. Hopefully no readers of this site were affected by this type of scam, but it’s possible you know a friend or family member that was.
