Virgin Atlantic on May 1 will resume daily service between London Heathrow and Shanghai, the carrier announced Thursday. The route had been suspended since 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The resumption marks the post-pandemic return of all of Virgin Atlantic’s routes, according to the carrier. The route will operate with Boeing 787-9 aircraft with upper class, premium class, and three classes of economy cabins.
