CLEVELAND (WJW) — An investigation is underway following an armored truck robbery at a Cleveland gas station Monday afternoon, police reported.

Cleveland officers were called to the Lucky’s Gas Station on East 105th Street around 4:45 p.m. for reports of an aggravated robbery. Upon arrival, police learned two men affiliated with the armored truck company were threatened by at least three males.

The three suspects had pulled up in a black Dodge Durango, flashed their weapons and took the armored truck from the victims, police said in a report.

The armored truck was later found in the area of East 99th Street and Parkgate Avenue (as seen in the video at the top of the story). It is not clear if anything was stolen from the vehicle.

Those who may have information regarding the robbery are urged to call detectives at 216-623-5518.
