Coupa Software and Uber for Business have collaborated on an integration that automates expense reporting for Uber rides in the Coupa Business Spend Management platform, the companies announced.

Uber has developed a new receipts integration model, for which Coupa is the launch partner, that automatically generates an expense report line in Coupa after an Uber trip, including details on the trip and an attached receipt. Previous integration models required employees to find and attach the receipts manually.

“The new integration can provide a better understanding of company expenses, which can lead to opportunities to smartly navigate the current economic landscape and cut costs accordingly,” global head of Uber for Business Susan Anderson said in a statement.
