Trump-Giuliani Pal Who Dug Up Dirt On Hunter Biden Is Out Of Prison And Allowed To Use Medical Marijuana – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

Lev Parnas, a former associate of Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump, was convicted of conspiracy to illegally funnel money from Russian businessmen into the 2018 elections in the U.S. where he wanted to open recreational cannabis businesses.
Parnas, who’d been sentenced to 20 months, was granted permission to consume medical marijuana while on probation following his release from federal prison last week, a judge ruled Monday, reported the NY Post.
Giuliani, Trump, Parnas And Hunter Biden
Manhattan federal prosecutors said that Parnas had connected Giuliani with Ukraine contacts who agreed to dig up dirt on Hunter Biden as part of a Trump-Giuliani election scheme to discredit Democratic opponent Joe Biden.
Part of the plan also involved Parnas and co-conspirators allegedly cooking up schemes to get retail weed licenses by currying favor with GOP candidates by illegally donating to their campaigns in the November 2018 election in hopes they’d help them get licenses.
Million-dollar donations came from Russian oligarch Andrey Muraviev, who tried to conceal that he was the true source of the money. The U.S. Attorney’s Office accused Muraviev of attempting “to influence the 2018 elections by conspiring to push a million dollars of his foreign funds to candidates and campaigns.”
FBI assistant director-in-charge Michael J. Driscoll said at the time that Muraviev made illegal political contributions and conspired with Parnas to obscure their source. “The…
