Yes, believe it or not, it’s that time of year again.

No, not the holidays. Though they’ll be here soon enough.

I mean Spotify Wrapped!

You probably know what that is by now, since Spotify makes a huge hoopla every year.

But just in case, Spotify Wrapped is the streaming giant’s end-of-year, interactive data-drop for both artists and listeners. And they do a consistently brilliant job of enticing creators and consumers to share those annual-recap stats on social (along with a lil’ bit of Spotify branding, of course).

In fact, Spotify says that “hundreds of millions of fans” share Wrapped content each year.

Spotify Wrapped 2024 is underway

As an artist, Wrapped gives you a chance to see your engagement activity at a glance. But it’s also an opportunity to communicate to your audience on Spotify and show them appreciation for their support and attention throughout the year.

And you can get started on that right now!

According to Spotify’s “Get ready for Wrapped” page, you have from now until November 15th to upload a vertical Clip video within Spotify for Artists thanking your top fans on Spotify.

Spotify says:

“Record an under-30-second Clip for the opportunity to be featured within the main Wrapped data story, and in a Wrapped video feed for your top fans. After Wrapped, uploaded Clips will be featured across Spotify — on your artist profile, the Now Playing view, Release Pages, and Home – for listeners to continue enjoying.”

Your end-of-year Spotify Clip should:

  • Be shot in vertical
  • Contain NO music, singing, or lyrics
  • Have NO explicit content
  • NO logos or branding
  • NO added text, graphics, or filters

Spotify is also encouraging artists to use this end-of-year Wrapped season as a time to refresh your profile, offer new merch on Spotify, and build buzz around any upcoming 2025 releases with Spotify Countdown Pages.
