Thunderstorms, heavy rain moves across Central NC, possible showers overnight

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — The warmer temperatures brought a chance for thunderstorms across central NC on Thursday. There is a level 1 severe weather risk.

Overnight some areas will see showers and thunderstorms as temperatures drop into the 60s. The main threats will be damaging wind gusts and hail.

Scattered showers and gusty storms are possible Friday morning. In the afternoon showers will be isolated to some areas.

Another system moves through on Saturday that will bring another severe weather risk.

Sunday looks slightly drier, but a few afternoon showers could pop up.
