I wish I could afford anything and everything from Madewell—I can’t even bring myself to window shop the store in my neighborhood—but since the brand is still a bit too expensive for my pockets, I’ll stick with any dupes for the time being. And since these A New Day Emmy Dress Boots are uncannily similar to Madewell’s The Essex Ankle Boot (which retail for $210, by the way), straight into my cart they go.

The black ankle boots come with a 2-inch block heel and memory foam insole, so you should be able to comfortably wear them on a night out without writhing in pain with every step.
