CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A man was caught in a mischievous act in broad daylight stealing something unusual.
Ring footage caught a thief stealing someone’s water hose right in their backyard.
Neighbors on Southeast First Avenue in Cape Coral were surprised that out of anything a thief could take, a water hose was what caught the thief’s eye.
Chris Voggs, who lives in the neighborhood, suggested, “if you’re going to steal something, steal something that’s worth something.”
It came as a shock to other neighbors because the neighborhood is usually quiet. Humberto Amador can attest to that, as he said they’ve never had a problem.
This Cape Coral neighborhood hopes police can use the video to catch the man.
