Some of my personal favourite pools at Londolozi are in the Private Granite Suites. Among the many lavish features in this camp, the pools stand out as an embodiment of luxury and tranquility.

Nature’s beauty and serenity have always set the stage for unforgettable moments of romance. Given the unique setting of these spectacular pools, they definitely exude romance, making it the perfect destination for those basking in the bliss of their honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary.

As twilight descends, the poolside at the Private Granite Suites becomes the perfect setting for a candle-lit dinner under the starry African sky.

The Private Granite Suite pools are strategically positioned to offer panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. From this vantage point, you can witness the grandeur of the Londolozi landscapes. It is also one of the most magical settings to witness a spectacular African sunset. As the sun sets, it casts a warm glow that illuminates the surrounding trees and reflects upon the shimmering waters of your pool. To make this sunset experience even more magical, there is a chance that a breeding herd of elephants will grace you with their presence, as they are often known to make their way past the Private Granite Suites.

Each suite at Londolozi boasts its own private plunge pool, offering a sanctuary of seclusion.  What I love most about the private plunge pools is the ease of stepping out onto your private deck, and being greeted by the tranquil waters of your own secluded pool.

These plunge pools provide more than a secluded spot to relax; they offer a unique opportunity to connect with wildlife. Imagine lounging by the pool and spotting elephants drinking from the river or bushbucks grazing peacefully below you.

Unforgettable family Moments at the Pioneer Main Pool:

One of the reasons why I love Pioneer Camp is its ability to transform into a private bush homestead, perfect for multi-generational family gatherings. This means you’ll have exclusive use of its beautiful main pool, tucked away amongst the lush African greenery.

This exclusivity presents an idyllic setting to embrace precious moments of quality time with your friends and family. It becomes a space where laughter echoes and playful moments unfold. Renowned as the symbolic heart of Londolozi, Varty Camp encapsulates the core essence, heritage, and unwavering ethos that embody the spirit of this special place. At the center of this camp, is the Varty main pool. I’ve always found this pool enchanting, with it being surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees.

Londolozi’s Freeze Pool Experience

Discover the healing powers of a cold plunge in our cold plunge pool during a Body Activation, a unique offering found within the tranquil confines of Londolozi’s Healing House. As you submerge yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the cold plunge pool (kept at a cool 9 degrees Celsius, 48 Fahrenheit), a rush of exhilaration washes over you, awakening your senses and revitalizing your body and mind.

Tree Camp Main Pool

Nestled in the Leadwood tree canopy, the Tree Camp main pool offers a sensory experience like no other. As you approach the pool, you’ll be met with the soothing sound of the cascading waterfall,  as well as a symphony of birdcalls from birds that nest in the surrounding trees.

Within the peaceful ambiance of Tree Camp, the dining area is nestled right by the pool, creating a perfect harmony between relaxation and culinary indulgence.
