To all those parents who have unlimited patience and smiles and bake cakes of rainbows, this story isn’t for you. Everyone else, listen up. We love and adore our little rugrats but really, we need some downtime from the constant drain that is being a parent.

Tons of local businesses get that (thank goodness) and offer Kids Nights Out or Parents Night Out, which consists of parents dropping off their little treasures at a super fun place for a few hours and parents getting some peace and quiet. The kids will be well-taken care of, fed dinner or snacks, and will be so worn out by the time you get them, that they will be begging for bedtime.

And it’s a good financial deal as well – you pay a flat fee for each child and they get anywhere from three to four hours of entertainment. The kids are taken care of and get to eat. That rivals even the best babysitter deals.

Here’s a list of all of those sanity-Kids Nights Out in the Upstate. Make it a habit. Go to a different one every month. Everyone wins!
