The Princess of Wales chose a Jenny Packham gown for tonight’s royal wedding celebration in Amman, Jordan.
The gala honored Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and his bride, Princess Rajwa Al Hussein.

It was the third event marking the couple’s wedding today. The first was the religious ceremony and signing of the marriage contract at Zahran Palace.
The second was a reception for the newlyweds at Al-Husseiniya Palace.

The Palace compound is home to the offices of Their Majesties. Al-Husseiniya Palace combines traditional Islamic architecture elements with a simple and elegant design, with multiple archways and traditional motifs etched into its walls and doors.
Built in 2006, Al-Husseiniya Palace, derives its name from adjacent King Hussein bin Talal Mosque.

Tonight’s white-tie state gala was also held at Al-Husseiniya Palace.

Now for a quick look at what Kate wore this evening. 
She was in a dress by Jenny Packham that will be familiar to many readers, the”Georgia” style in a dusky pink shade. The green version of the gown was first worn at a reception during the 2019 Pakistan tour and repeated for the 2021 Royal Variety Performance. 
The tailored design features sequin-covered fabric with a row of crystal embellishments accenting the waist and neckline. Featured in the A/W 2019 runway collection, the gown is 100% viscose and fully lined with a back zipper.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was pictured wearing the design in a February 2022 Financial Times profile.
The Princess carried her Prada logo box clutch. 
We saw the return of the Lover’s Knot tiara, shown below when it was worn for the 2018 diplomatic reception. 
The tiara was commissioned by Queen Mary and made by Garrard; it is the tiara worn most frequently by the Princess.
The Princess wore the Greville Chandelier Earrings for the first time.

The diamond and platinum earrings were made by Cartier in London over a period of years, starting in 1918 and ending in 1929. Initially they were a simple pair of brilliant drop earrings. In 1922, they were lengthened using twelve additional diamonds. The earrings were completed in their present form in February 1929, when ten more diamonds were added.
The Royal Collection notes that each earring features “a lexicon of modern diamond cuts.” These include a trio of pair-shaped diamond pendants, plus diamonds in baguette, baton, emerald, half-moon, trapeze, and square cuts. The ultimate effect is that of a modern girandole or chandelier earring, a technical and unique take on an earring shape that has been popular for centuries.
They were a favorite of the Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Below, the Queen wearing the earrings during a July 2010 visit to Canada. 
The Princess also wore her Royal Family Order (on the yellow ribbon) and Royal Victorian Order (below center and right), all seen when worn to the November 2022 Africa State Dinner.
The Princess used her Bentley & Skinner brooch to hold the sash securely.
