  • Khloé Kardashian & Tristan Thompson’s Daughter True Is Legit Involved In The Creepiest Ghost Story EVER! OMG! – Perez Hilton

You guys!!! Buckle UP, because Khloé Kardashian just dropped a paranormal bombshell that is straight out of a wild horror movie — and somehow also incredibly Kardashian-coded.

And before you try to guess it, we are actually talking about a DIFFERENT spirit-related story from the one Khloé opened up about last summer!

The reality star is opening up about a chilling experience involving her daughter True that has fans equal parts freaked out and fascinated. And yes, this is one of those stories that makes you look around the room afterward just to be safe.

Khloé revealed on her podcast Khloe in Wonder Land on Wednesday that her kids may be way more tuned into the other side than the rest of us.

While chatting with Long Island Medium star Theresa Caputo, the Good American founder first admitted she’s not totally sure what’s going on with her kids True and Tatum, but she knows something is definitely there as far as interfacing with other realms is concerned:

“My children, I don’t know their abilities, but I know that they have some.”

Okay, spooky already. But it gets way creepier.

Khloé went on to explain that her daughter True, now 7, saw the ghost of her late grandmother Andrea Thompson before the family even knew Andrea had passed away. Andrea, who of course was Tristan Thompson’s mom, died suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack in January 2023. At the time, True was just four years old.

According to Khloé, True came to her very early one morning and casually mentioned that a woman had visited her room during the night. Not a dream. Not imagination. A full-on visit:

“True told me she passed before we knew she passed. True said, ‘Oh, this lady came in my room last night and woke me up. Andrea, in human form was a little bigger of a woman. Then when True saw her, she was thinner because she was younger. True was like, ‘she was tall and skinny and he had a silly voice,’ because she’s Jamaican.”

    WHOA.

Khloé recalled that True described the woman as happy, laughing, and ready to go “home,” which is just… chills. The podcaster said:

“[True] just laughed, and was talking to me and she told me she was going home and she was so happy to go home. I’m like, ‘girl, what are you talking about?’ This is at, like, 5 in the morning.”

As if that wasn’t enough, hours later, Khloé received the devastating phone call confirming Andrea’s death — while she was driving back home after dropping True off at school. Coincidence or nah?!

And apparently, the visits didn’t stop there. Khlo-money explained:

“Sometimes the ‘silly’ lady comes and visits [True]. I encourage all of it. Sometimes I’m a little freaked out.”

    Same, Khloé. SAME.

Caputo tried to offer some comfort, explaining that the spirits appearing to True may be loved ones watching over her, including Khloé’s late father, Robert Kardashian Sr:

“At least you know, and you’re open to knowing that it’s your loved ones.”

Seriously, if this doesn’t give you goosebumps, check your pulse.

  • Why is this hit CW show leaving Netflix? | The Mary Sue

Hunters, demons, and angels alike, make sure you squeeze in one last binge (or two) of the CW’s Supernatural before it departs Netflix on December 18. It truly is a sad day for an iconic series, which has certainly remained one of my most-rewatched shows on Netflix throughout the years.

Supernatural has been a cornerstone for Netflix since, well, forever. Added to the streaming service in 2012, it remained a steady presence. Once all 15 seasons were added in 2020, it quickly rose to the top and stayed there. Unfortunately, due to licensing changes it looks like this fan-favorite will have to find a new home.

  • Step Into The House Of Quiet By Kiersten White If You Dare

It’s no secret that we at THP love a good Gothic fantasy. And with Halloween in our sights, our reading list is only going to get spookier from here. Kiersten White’s new novel, The House of Quiet, fits the creepy, haunted house vibe we know you’ve been needing.

The House of Quiet follows Birdie, a maid who infiltrates the House of Quiet in search of her sister. Rumor has it that the House of Quiet is where children go to be treated for having terrible, supernatural powers. But who knows where they go afterward?

It’s eerie, atmospheric, and an edge-of-your-seat Gothic fantasy. Here are three of our favorite things about The House of Quiet by Kiersten White!

Book Overview: The House Of Quiet

Content warnings: death, gore, violence, attempted murder, stabbing, bodies, forced captivity, serious injury

Summary: In the middle of a deadly bog sits the House of Quiet. It’s a place for children whose Procedure triggered powers too terrible to be lived with—their last hope for treatment. No one knows how they’re healed or where they go afterward.

Birdie has begged, bargained, and blackmailed her way inside as a maid, determined to find her missing sister, Magpie. But what she discovers is more mysteries. Instead of the destitute children who undergo the Procedure in hopes of social advancement, the house brims with aristocratic teens wielding strange powers they never should have been burdened with.

Though Birdie wants to ignore them, she can’t help being drawn to stoic and silent Forest, charmed by clever River, and concerned for the youngest residents. And with fellow maid Minnow keeping tabs on everything Birdie does, danger is everywhere.

In her desperate search for Magpie, Birdie unearths terrifying threats and devastating truths, forcing her to confront just how much she’s willing to sacrifice to save her own sister. Because in the House of Quiet, if you find what’s lurking beneath . . . you lose everything.

Unravel the mystery. Ignite the rebellion.

    Every Character Has A Role

It may seem that some of the characters have too many screws loose to play a significant part in the plot. Or that they’re spoiled rich kids who shouldn’t complain about their situation. But no character goes wasted in The House of Quiet. From characters who take an early exit like Sky and Rabbit to the ones who never seem to be in their right mind like Nimbus and Lake, everyone pulls their weight in helping Birdie uncover the secrets of the House of Quiet.

    Birdie And Forest

Even amidst the unknown horrors and unsettling energy in The House of Quiet, there is still room for some romance! We especially love the progression between Birdie and Forest. Forest usually keeps to himself and doesn’t utter a single word, the reason for which Birdie will later find out. Luckily, Birdie talks enough for the both of them while also sitting peacefully in each other’s company. Forest fiercely protects her from harm, and we also learn about their deeper history.

    The Ultimate Revenge

Another one of our favorite things about The House of Quiet is the extremely justified, revenge-filled ending. Once Birdie and the rest of the residents find the heart of the house, the sinister plot all starts coming together. Why do rich families really send their children to the House of Quiet? What happens to all the residents after receiving the so-called treatment? All the adults who have kept this house running get their karma returned to them in the end.

An atmospheric, eerie, and edge-of-your-seat Gothic fantasy, Kiersten White’s The House of Quiet deserves to be your next spooky read!

The House of Quiet by Kiersten White comes out September 9th, and you can order a copy of it here!

  • ‘I‘ve seen them before at Boardners in Hollywood’: Woman says she’s spoken to vampires who ‘run might life’ in NYC and L.A. She’s not alone

A psychic and vampire enthusiast has gone viral after sharing her theory about modern-day ‘vampires.’ In the clips, which have collectively amassed over 700,000 views, Lotty Luxe (@lottyluxe) invites viewers into a whole new, hidden world.

“A lot of other people come out about their experience and the allegations that they’re coming out with about the nightlife scene and how it is ran by vampires here in New York and Los Angeles,” she explained in one clip. “And I can confirm that to be true those allegations because I have spoken to them, and they’re not just running it in New York and Los Angeles.”

    What are vampires?

The type of vampires Luxe is dedicating her TikTok account to explaining isn’t the traditional blood-sucking type. She’s talking about astral vampires. As the name implies, these vampires, which are embedded in supernatural folklore, feed on people’s astral energy, emotions, and life energy.

According to Villains Wiki, these types of vampires can show up in the astral plane and harvest people’s energy—especially those who are unwell or vulnerable for any reason. While these vampires are more concerned about the astral plane, the Wiki states that they can be found in the real world, seeking people to steal energy from.

Some commenters mocked this theory. “This is why millennials aren’t ageing,” one joked.

“I’ve been on this app for 5 minutes and have officially come across people convinced of: Aliens coming in November, mermaids sinking ships, werewolves being spotted by rings, and vampires running the clubs,” another added.

While a third quipped, “They’re not vampires, they just do a bunch of cocaine. Be nice to them.”

However, others agreed with Luxe, sharing their own experiences. One commenter claimed that these vampires are also present in Tampa, Florida and Miami. Another claimed, “Vampires in Dayton Ohio used night club for rituals, look it up.” While a third said that they’ve “seen them before in Boardners, Hollywood.”

    Celebrity doppelgangers

In the second clip, Luxe highlighted a recent theory about Kourtney Kardashian having a doppelganger from 1912. She suggests it is all related to vampirism.

“I personally do not think that these people just don’t conk out,” Luxe theorized. “I think that they’re just recycled. And from what I’ve seen, this all goes back to Luciferian rituals, where people are not getting source energy from the source. So they need to get it from the DNA of others, and the vampirism that they’re participating in. It is energy harvesting.”

She then went on to warn people that in order to protect themselves from energy vampires, they cannot touch them or be in the same vicinity as them. “There are real-life monsters out there,” she concluded.

  • Stormy Daniels honored with first ever Salem Witches Woman of Power Award

Stormy Daniels honored with first ever Salem Witches Woman of Power Award

SALEM — Hundreds of Halloween visitors and witches gathered on Salem Common Thursday to hold the annual “witches circle” ceremony to honor the spirits of loved ones who have passed on, as well as to award former adult film actress and practicing witch Stormy Daniels with the first annual “Salem Witches’ Woman of Power Award.”

“The greatest war on women was a witch hunt that spread like a cancer across the European continent and England, and culminated here with the Salem Witch Trials,” Christian Day, a practicing warlock and organizer of the ceremony, said.

“Many of those people were not witches — some were, but I think many of them got away. That’s why 85% of the victims of the Salem Witch Trials were women. We are still facing a war on women today, and that’s why we chose Stormy Daniels as the recipient for tonight’s reward.”

Daniels, who gained notoriety in recent years for her alleged extramarital affair with Donald Trump, has been a practitioner of witchcraft since her childhood. During a court case in 2019, when she sued former lawyer Michael Avenatti for wire fraud and identity theft, Avenatti’s legal team used Daniel’s spiritual beliefs and practice of witchcraft in an attempt to discredit her as a witness.

“I would like to award Ms. Stormy Daniels with this award in honor of her strength, her character, and for standing strong for what is wrong,” Lorelei the Love Witch said.

“It doesn’t matter what spiritual or religious beliefs you hold, or why you’re here in Salem today,” Daniels said. “Whether you’re here to wear awesome costumes, see the weirdo witches, or pay tribute to your ancestors, I can tell you that there is one thing we can all agree on, you should not be persecuted for your beliefs. You should not be bullied into silence or into making a choice whether you like it or not. We are all equal — your gift is your voice, and that’s the one thing that no one can take from you.”

  • WTF Fun Fact 13740 – The Vatican Regulates the Divine

WTF Fun Fact 13740 – The Vatican Regulates the Divine

The Vatican introduced a new set of guidelines aimed at scrutinizing claims of supernatural phenomena more rigorously. From weeping statues to miraculous healings, the Catholic Church is setting the bar high for what passes as a divine occurrence.

The Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, responsible for promoting and safeguarding doctrine, has crafted these rules. They replace the older guidelines from 1978, marking a significant update in how the Church handles these mysterious claims.

A Call for Rigor and Rationality at the Vatican

At a media briefing last Friday, the Vatican made its stance clear: supernatural claims must undergo a thorough investigation to prevent fraud and exploitation. The Church aims to protect its credibility and unity, steering clear of scandals that could tarnish its image.

In an era where viral news can spread falsehoods in an instant, the guidelines stress the importance of careful validation. Reports of supernatural events have surged, propelled by the rapid spread of information online. The new protocol includes issuing a “nihil obstat,” meaning “no obstacle,” for unverified but harmless claims, allowing worship without formal recognition of the supernatural.

    The Vatican’s Verdicts

Under the updated rules, bishops can make one of six decisions regarding supernatural claims. These range from outright rejection to prohibiting the worship associated with certain phenomena. To ensure consistency, bishops must seek approval from the Vatican before going public with any supernatural endorsements, with the Pope stepping in for exceptional cases.

This rigorous approach is not about stifling faith but about safeguarding it from the distortions of modern myth-making. The Vatican recognizes the powerful draw of pilgrimage sites, like Lourdes in France and Fatima in Portugal, where millions visit annually, drawn by tales of Marian apparitions and miracles recognized by the Church decades ago.

    The Challenge of Modern Miracles

Not all supernatural claims make the cut. Take the 2016 incident in Italy, where a woman claimed regular visions of Jesus and Mary. It took eight years for the Church to investigate and dismiss the claims, which included contentious messages on social issues like same-sex marriage and abortion. This case underscores the challenges the Church faces in distinguishing genuine spiritual phenomena from well-crafted hoaxes.

The new guidelines aim to streamline this process, ensuring that any claim of a heavenly apparition or miraculous event receives the scrutiny it deserves before being accepted or rejected.

  • ‘Supernatural’ Star Mark Sheppard Survives Massive Heart Attacks

‘Supernatural’ Star Mark Sheppard Survives Massive Heart Attacks

Mark Sheppard, best known as “Crowley” on Supernatural, revealed on Instagram Saturday that he somehow survived six heart attacks.

“You’re not going to believe this! Was on my way to an appointment yesterday when I collapsed in my kitchen,” Sheppard began. The 59-year-old actor wrote that he had “six massive heart attacks” and was “brought back from [the] dead 4 times,” before learning that he “had a 100% blockage in my LAD” (left anterior descending artery.)”

Sheppard called the event “The Widowmaker,” and expressed his thanksto his medics.

“If not for my wife, the @losangelesfiredepartment at mullholland and the incredible staff @providencecalifornia St Joseph’s – I wouldn’t be writing this,” he said. “My chances of survival were virtually nil.”

“I feel great. Humbled once more,” Sheppard added. “Home tomorrow! #spnfamily.”

Sheppard’s castmate Misha Collins, who portrayed Castiel on the CW series, shared a message in the comments section of his post.

“Mark! You don’t need to do the most and biggest every time! 6 heart attacks? 2 or 3 would have been impressive enough,” Collins wrote.

“You’ve impressed us, okay. Now stop with this heal up and get back on the road with us,” he continued. “Love you, pal.”

  • Vampire Survivors Adds A Death Bridge

Vampire Survivors Adds A Death Bridge

Vampire Survivors' new tiny bridge, lightning striking enemies.

    Screenshot: poncle

Vampire Survivors, 2022’s break-out game—nay—genre, released its complete 1.0 edition just over a month ago, near the end of October. But if you were worried that meant developer poncle was done, put your worry back in its worry-case, close the lid, clip the clasps, and update your edition to the freshly released 1.10 version. Along with a few smaller details, the patch called The Tiny One adds a fascinating new Challenge Stage, and it’s a very narrow bridge.

    poncle

The Tiny Bridge Stage is unlocked by having reached level 80 in Inverse Gallo Tower, and once opened, it provides the most ridiculous challenge: A single lane, in which you have to do some very specific ability tweaking to stand a chance of survival.

Capturing that moment in the regular game when you realize you’re hopelessly trapped, and then scrambling to do anything at all to somehow survive it, the entire concept sounds ghastly. And thus, fantastic.

Also added in this post-release update is Seal Power Up. According to the update information:

When Sealing a weapon, it will be automatically added to the list of banished weapons at the start of a run. When Sealing an item, the item will not be removed from the loot table, but will turn into a Gold Coin instead, which means this does not affect standard drop rates.

It comes with 10 ranks, a base price of 10,000, and is gained by “banishing 1o or more items in a single run.” Goodness me, Vampire Survivor got more complicated while I was looking out this window.

There are also two new achievements, for which poncle nervously apologizes. “Sorry for the extra achievements ruining your completion rate,” he says in his notes. “Most players seem to be in favor of having them so I took the opportunity to add more. The best I could come up with to make them feel less of a “must have” is to tag them as EXTRA achievements.”

And there’s a new secret too. Shhhhhh.

Vampire Survivor is very firmly in Kotaku’s favorite games of 2022 (and yes, you, we know it came out in December 2021, but no one noticed for a few weeks), and it’s going to be riding high in a lot of GOTY lists across the internet. Right now you can get it on Steam for just $4.24, or find it included in Game Pass for Xbox. Although be prepared to see nothing but blue crystals when you close your eyes for the next few weeks.
