These Saks Sale Picks Just Made My Heart (and My Wallet) Skip a Beat

    [ad_1]

Lately, the sales I’ve been perusing all consist of winter apparel that, quite frankly, I’m ready to leave behind for a bit. I can’t bear to spend money on yet another wool sweater, so this Saks friends and family sale is exactly what I need. Through March 27, you can get 25% off new arrivals and 20% off select jewelry to create your perfect spring wardrobe. There are over 50,000 products included, but luckily for you, I’ve narrowed them down to the 25 pieces I think you’ll love. Included are editor-favorite brands such as Staud, Agolde, and Ganni, whose pieces are rarely on sale, so I suggest you start shopping now before they inevitably sell out.

  • Everyone’s Favorite Hair-Health Brand Is Now at Sephora—Here’s What I’m Eyeing

Everyone’s Favorite Hair-Health Brand Is Now at Sephora—Here’s What I’m Eyeing

    [ad_1]

If you’re on Instagram, then you’ve probably heard about Nutrafol. I’ve seen dozens of friends and beauty insiders share their success stories with this brand, so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling particularly influenced. I mean, I want fuller, longer, and healthier hair (who doesn’t?), but it wasn’t until I researched Nutrafol a little more that I became really impressed.

There are tons of factors that can impact hair health—not just the dreaded dry heat in the winter and humidity in the summer. Lifestyle factors such as hormones, nutrition, stress, aging, and metabolism can all affect our hair, but Nutrafol has really simplified the hair-growth game by creating a line of salon-quality haircare products and nutraceuticals (aka natural, science-backed supplements that promote hair health from the inside out) to support visibly thicker, healthier hair. There are five personalized formulas for faster hair growth: Women for women ages 18 to 44, Women’s Balance for women ages 45 and older, Postpartum for new mothers, Women’s Vegan for the plant-based ladies, and even Men (because guys deserve to have great hair, too).

Intrigued? Keep scrolling to shop nine products from Nutrafol (which also just launched at Sephora).

  • Kendall Jenner Wore a Controversial G-String Bikini, and It’s Going Viral

Kendall Jenner Wore a Controversial G-String Bikini, and It’s Going Viral

    [ad_1]

At this point in her dressing journey, there’s very little Kendall Jenner could wear that would genuinely shock us. Think about it this way: She’s worn a tiny string bikini with furry boots in a snow-covered field, a completely sideless gown by Rami Kadi to the 2019 Oscar’s after-party, and tights as pants on a number of occasions now. In other words, Jenner doesn’t exactly dress for the faint of heart. Yet even I was surprised when I scrolled through her latest Instagram slideshow, captioned “31 hours,” to find the model wearing not just a thong bikini but one with an almost nonexistent G-string, and even stranger, I was into the look.

The floss-like thong bikini has been met with its fair share of controversial opinions online, but then again, so have most of Jenner’s more risqué looks in the past. What hasn’t, however, is the Marni S/S 23 dress that she also featured in the photo dump, which looked shockingly pretty, especially given the time of day when she wore it. Jenner can be seen dancing on the beach in the dress, which features extra-long sleeves and a sunset-like pattern, right at daybreak, making the colors pop perfectly. She also showcased a higher-coverage (kind of) bikini from Heavy Manners, one of the swimwear brands she goes back to again and again.

Below, scroll through the entire slideshow to see Jenner’s controversial and not-so-controversial vacation looks.

  • It’s Fashion Week—Meet the One Product We Refuse to Skip This Season

It’s Fashion Week—Meet the One Product We Refuse to Skip This Season

    [ad_1]

Any fashion person will tell you that Fashion Week is the most important time of the year—period. People from all over the globe flock to NYC every February for an extra dose of fashion, luxury, and trends. As you can imagine, preparation for this week’s nonstop excitement includes much more than a stylish outfit, so I tapped my favorite content creator, Isabel Tan, to give me the inside scoop.

When I think of NYC’s It girls, Tan immediately comes to mind. You can find her strolling through the streets of SoHo in a chic outfit, applying the perfect makeup look, or showing us the best products to buy. Tan is headed to all of Fashion Week’s festivities, but not without Viktor&Rolf’s Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum ($142). This ultra-delicate and sensual fragrance is the exact confidence boost we all need for a special time like this. Celeb loved, editor approved, and internet famous, Flowerbomb is known for its warm and floral scent with key notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and patchouli. In short, Tan can expect compliments on her delicious scent (and her killer outfits, of course). Before you rush to buy a bottle for yourself, let’s go behind the scenes of New York Fashion Week with Tan.

  • Psst: Sephora Sells a Ridiculous Number of These 18 Products—Here’s the Reveal

Psst: Sephora Sells a Ridiculous Number of These 18 Products—Here’s the Reveal

    [ad_1]

Do you know how that psychological principle states that the more options you’re presented with, the less happy you are with the outcome you choose? That’s how I sometimes feel when I shop at big beauty retailers like Sephora. If I’m stuck between three different lipsticks, let’s say, then I find myself contemplating my choice long after my card has been charged. Did I choose the right one? Should I go back and exchange it? Should I even be looking at lipsticks? Maybe I need a tinted lip balm instead… and so on. Basically, it’s hard to feel confident with your choice when there’s such a wealth of other options up for grabs.

Whenever I feel like this, I do one of two things: First, I consider going back to basics, shopping for products I already know and love. Second, I narrow my selection to only the best-selling products. This way, I can be more confident I bought the right product because it’s backed by so many other people too. It’s like getting a recommendation from a friend; it carries some weight.

So, in the spirit of making everyone’s shopping just a little bit easier, I gathered a selection of the best-selling products at Sephora. These products range across all three major categories—skincare, makeup, and hair care. Without further ado, keep scrolling to see (and shop) them all.

30 Fashion, Beauty, and Wellness Items One Editor Deems Worthy of Purchasing

    [ad_1]

Well, it’s official: The post-holiday blues have gotten a hold of my credit card, and it’s running wild with all the fashion, wellness, and beauty purchases I can’t go another day without. Some would call this a shopping problem, but I’m a fashion editor, so I call it research. Can you blame me? Taking trends and products for a test drive is all part of the job, so I’m sharing a few of the things I’m currently buzzing about. Take, for example, the denim button-down that my fellow editors are already incorporating into their Canadian-tuxedo looks, or the mood-boosting supplements that will kick-start my return to the wellness space this year. So if you’re curious what an editor is spending her money on this January, keep scrolling to shop my top selects of the week.

16 Gifts You’ll Want to Wrap for Your Loved Ones and Unwrap for Yourself

    [ad_1]

The only thing better than seeing someone’s face light up when they open a gift that you handpicked for them is buying that same gift for yourself. My friends and I have similar fashion taste, so when it’s time to shop for the holidays, my cart is full of duplicates. This year, I’m trying to cut back on the shopping, but Jenni Kayne is making it extremely difficult with all of the cute pieces popping up on the site. This brand has absolutely mastered the art of high-quality, luxe basics that are downright irresistible. (The home décor is just as dreamy as the clothing, by the way.) Take a look at the 16 items below and decide if you want to buy one for a loved one, yourself, or both.
