  • 25 Of Our Favorite K-Pop Comebacks Of 2025

    [ad_1]

We’ll say it… 2025 was one of the best years for K-Pop yet! The continued global explosion of K-Pop was pushed to new levels thanks to K-Pop Demon Hunters, more idols expanding their world tours, and highly anticipated returns from the likes of G-DRAGON, MONSTA X, BLACKPINK, and GOT7. We could talk all day about our favorite K-Pop comebacks, but here (in alphabetical order) are 25 of the best from 2025.

    aespa – Rich Man

We really didn’t think it was possible for aespa to have a better year than they did in 2024, but in 2025 they levelled up (… ‘Next Level?’). We loved ‘Dirty Work,’ but the Rich Man mini-album is our fave comeback from aespa this year. Each of the six tracks is a masterpiece that showcases aespa’s ever-evolving skillset, but if we had to pick a favorite other than the title track ‘Rich Man,’ then it would have to be the album closer, ‘To The Girls.’

    ALL(H)OURS – Smoke Point

If hype energy K-Pop comebacks are your thing, then we hope Smoke Point was on your 2025 playlists! The title track, ‘GIMME GIMME,’ is another level of fiery and intense. It’s giving old school MONSTA X! 2025 was ALL (H)OURS’ second year since debut, and the growth they’ve shown in that time is so impressive. We can’t wait to see what happens for ALL (H)OURS next.

ATEEZ – GOLDEN HOUR: Part 3

As if the ‘Lemon Drop’ era hadn’t been enough, ATEEZ did not come to play with ‘In Your Fantasy’ and GOLDEN HOUR: Part 3. The album is a true ‘Masterpiece’ (pun somewhat intended), and we couldn’t have been more thrilled to get solo b-sides from each ATEEZ member! Our faves have got to be ‘Slide to me,’ ‘NO1,’ and ‘Sagittarius.’

    BLACKPINK – ‘JUMP’

The world is always tuned in every time there’s a BLACKPINK comeback! In 2025, the quartet reunited for a world tour and the single, ‘JUMP.’ Naturally, the track is as vivacious and high-energy as anyone would expect from a BLACKPINK release. This time, though, as well as YG’s in-house team, ‘JUMP’ was co-written and co-produced by music juggernaut Diplo. Here’s to more BLACKPINK music in 2026…?

    BOYNEXTDOOR – The Action

Between No Genre and The Action, it’s been a career-best year for BOYNEXTDOOR. Again and again, the group proves that they’re at the forefront of K-Pop and will continue to pioneer the 5th Generation. The members continue to get more and more hands-on, too, with Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak all contributing to the songwriting of the tracks, which focus on BOYNEXTDOOR’s group aspirations, with a sprinkle of their usual tongue-in-cheek spirit.

    ENHYPEN – DESIRE: UNLEASH

As ever, in 2025, ENHYPEN took the time out of their hectic world tour schedules to release one of our favorite K-Pop comebacks. DESIRE: UNLEASH was first announced during ENHYPEN’s Coachella set, and that performance was probably a 2025 highlight, too. DESIRE: UNLEASH was stacked with hits, but our favorites have to be ‘Outside’ and ‘Helium!’

    EVNNE – LOVE ANECDOTE(S)

The Honey POP stans EVNNE big time, and the release of their 5th mini-album, LOVE ANECDOTE(S), was no different! The title track, ‘How Can I Do,’ feels like several songs in one, but in the best way possible. From the R&B moments to the intense chorus, there’s an edge of 3rd Gen sensibilities in this song. The highlight, though, is the bass and drums breakdown underneath the fierce rap verses.

    GOT7 – WINTER HEPTAGON

We’ll be real, we almost forgot that WINTER HEPTAGON was a 2025 release because it came out so early in the year! Nonetheless, we are always thrilled to have more GOT7 music in our lives. This album, which we had truly been dreaming of, brought all of our wishes to life. As always, GOT7 were hands-on in the creative process, with every member contributing to the writing and production. The lead single, ‘PYTHON,’ was exactly the statement GOT7 needed to make. “I know I’m an icon.” Yes, yes, you are.

    G-DRAGON – Übermensch

The king of K-Pop finally returned in 2025! With an absolutely top-tier album, Übermensch, G-DRAGON firmly restated that he is not going anywhere, even if he keeps us waiting in between releases! From ‘POWER’ dropping at the end of 2024 to ‘TOO BAD’ to all the bsides, Übermensch is a masterpiece. And if you don’t wanna take our word for it, check out the cameos in the ‘TOO BAD’ MV to see who else is a fan of G-DRAGON, too.

    Hearts2Hearts – FOCUS

Hearts2Hearts made the list of our favorite K-Pop debuts in 2025, but their first mini-album, FOCUS, was easily one of our fave comebacks, too! There’s something about the title track that makes it one of the most intriguing of the year, and it’s the perfect choice for Hearts2Hearts’ end-of-year stages as they entice more fans. “I cannot focus on anything but you,” is how Hearts2Hearts are making S2U feel!

    ILLIT – ‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE’

‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE’ might be one of the most recent K-Pop comebacks from 2025, but it’s still one of the best! ILLIT is a group that knows their brand perfectly, and they know how to both embrace and expand it, too. ‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE’ is (sorry) super cute, whilst still showing a new side to the girls. We cannot wait to see how ILLIT continue to grow as we go into their third year as a group!

    IVE – IVE EMPATHY

Doesn’t it feel like IVE has a career-best year, every year? Well, 2025 was no exception! Way back in February, the girls released IVE EMPATHY, which was immediately one of our fave IVE comebacks yet. Thanks to mega-hits ‘ATTITUDE’ and ‘REBEL HEART,’ this album quickly set the stage for IVE to exceed expectations once again.

    JENNIE – Ruby

“Who wanna rock with JENNIE?” Umm… us please! Ruby was technically JENNIE’s debut solo studio album, but we’re including it as a comeback as she’d had official solo releases before. Having said that, Ruby definitely felt like a brand new start for JENNIE. Having worked with the likes of Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, Diplo, and so many more, JENNIE gifted us with a cohesive, theatrical body of work. We waited for this album for so long, and it was so worth the wait!

    j-hope – ‘MONA LISA’

Not satisfied with wrapping up his solo world tour, j-hope gifted us with a trio of iconic singles. It was so hard to pick just one of them for our top K-Pop comebacks list, but we’ve gone with ‘MONA LISA.‘ This track has been on repeat for us all year, and we reckon it’ll still be that way throughout 2026, too. From the slick choreography to the fun message, we love every part of this song.

    KATSEYE – BEAUTIFUL CHAOS

KATSEYE spent 2025 “making beats,” and we couldn’t be more grateful to them for it. The girlies had their first comeback this year, the BEAUTIFUL CHAOS EP, led by ‘Gnarly’ and ‘Gabriela.’ Sometimes divisive but always talked about, everything these girls touch seems to turn to gold. Here’s to hoping that KATSEYE never go ‘M.I.A!’

LE SSERAFIM – ‘SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)’

Not only was ‘SPAGHETTI‘ one of our favorite K-Pop comebacks of 2025, but it’s maybe our favorite collaboration of the year, too! Every aspect of this release was iconic, from the styling to the TikTok trends to the packaging of the physical albums! The title track from this single album is fiery, mischievous, and tongue-in-cheek, which is basically all we could have wished for from the fimmies.

    MEOVV – ‘BURNING UP’

MEOVV’s digital single ‘BURNING UP’ saw the girls take a different sonic direction than their previous releases, but this sounds works just as well for them! Still equally fierce, but with a brighter pop edge, ‘BURNING UP,’ as well as just being super fun, showcases how much MEOVV has grown in such a short amount of time.

    MONSTA X – THE X

Was this the most highly anticipated comeback on this list? Maybe! MONBEBE had to suffer for literally years waiting for a group comeback, thanks to military enlistments, but we finally got it! The members didn’t come to mess around when they finally reunited either; 2025 has been stacked for them. As well as THE X, they celebrated their 10th anniversary, announced a 2026 world tour, and dropped the single ‘Baby Blue.’ We wanna see MONSTA X ‘N the Front’ row next year!

    P1HARMONY – DUH!

Not only was DUH! one of our fave K-Pop comebacks in 2025, it also gave us one of the very best b-sides we’ve heard in a long time: ‘Pretty Boy.’ We’re not the only ones who think that, either! ‘Pretty Boy’ has actually overtaken the title track’s streams on Spotify! ‘DUH!,’ though, is totally worth celebrating too. Our favorite thing about the title track is its music video. Filled with references to their discography, lore details, and some classic P1H looks, it’s the perfect MV for fans both old and new.

    Stray Kids – KARMA

There’s no way we couldn’t include Stray Kids on this list when both of the albums they released this year topped the Billboard 200, is there? Our fave 2025 comeback from the megastars has to be KARMA. Even if the music wasn’t incredible (which it is), the very fact it celebrates Stray Kids’ work ethic and all of their success (so far!) would be enough to earn KARMA a place in our hearts, and on this list.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER – The Star Chapter: TOGETHER

We’ll be honest, ‘Love Language,’ nearly made the list as a top K-Pop comeback in 2025, but then we thought: why have one TXT song, when you could have eight? The Star Chapter: TOGETHER was a special era for many reasons, not least because it wrapped up all of TXT’s lore and storyline for the past seven years! It also gifted us solo tracks from each member for the first time, and from the cuteness of ‘Sunday Driver’ to the moodiness of ‘Ghost Girl’ to the sensuality of ‘Dance With You,’ each and every one of these b-sides is a dream come true!

    TWICE – THIS IS FOR

Like for TXT, we were torn for this pick. We nearly chose TEN: The Story Goes On as our fave TWICE comeback in 2025 because we’re just so thrilled about their tenth anniversary, but ultimately we couldn’t resist THIS IS FOR. The title track was one of the most underrated bops this year, and we will never, ever, stop watching clips of ‘Right Hand Girl’ from the World Tour. Plus, we got brand new unit songs! What’s not to love?

    XLOV – I One

2025 was the year that we, and the world, fell totally in love with XLOV. Imma Be was one of our favorite debuts this year, and UXLXVE was a top album, so it’s only natural that I One would be one of our fave comebacks! Led by ‘1&Only,’ this era was what truly launched XLOV to the forefront of K-Pop. Even more than that, ‘1&Only’ and ‘BIZNESS’ had some of the best choreography of the year, and we cannot recommend the performance videos enough.

    ZEROBASEONE – NEVER SAY NEVER

Well, first of all, we have to say that we’re very sorry to ‘BLUE,’ but how could we resist the pull of ‘ICONIK?’ ZB1 told us to “Let the rhythm flow through [y]our body,” after all! In another year filled with hits from this group, we were thrilled about this comeback for many reasons, not least because it was their first full-length album! With the future of ZEROBASEONE still a mystery, we’re glad that we, and ZEROSE, got to enjoy a full body of work from ZB1.

    &TEAM – Back To Life

One of our favorite global groups finally had their official Korean debut! &TEAM released Back To Life, including the searing rock-inspired title track that earned &TEAM their first Korean music show win. However, the mini-album’s b-sides are what make this comeback so special. We’ll never stop watching performances of ‘Lunatic’ and ‘Mismatch.’

So there you have it, all of our top 2025 K-Pop comebacks, or at least 25 of them! Which is your favorite comeback? Did your ults make the list? Let us know! You can find us at @thehoneypop on Twitter, or by visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.

  • Eight 4th-Gen K-Pop Songs You Need On Your Winter Playlist

    [ad_1]

Winter is here, and with it comes the urge to bundle up with hot cocoa, fluffy blankets, and music that just feels like a cozy hug. But this isn’t your mom’s old holiday playlist. It’s a fresh mix from K-pop’s fourth-generation stars who know how to set a mood. From sentimental ballads that warm you up from the inside out to glittery pop anthems that make you want to dance in the snow, these eight songs will give your winter that perfect K-pop glow. Who says cold nights can’t be fun? Turn up the volume, and let’s unwrap some musical gifts!

    1. P1Harmony, ‘Butterfly’

A gentle flutter of warmth in a cold season.

You might know P1Harmony for their high-energy hits, but ‘Butterfly’ shows a softer side that’s tailor-made for winter nights. This R&B-infused ballad unfolds slowly, like a snowflake drifting down. The members swap their fierce rap verses for velvety vocals that tug at your heartstrings. Each note in ‘Butterfly’ feels personal, as if the boys are singing just to you on a chilly evening. It’s the kind of song that makes you stare out the window at midnight, watching the snow fall, and suddenly you’re not thinking about the cold anymore. Add this to your playlist when you need a dose of comfort and calm. It’s a warm blanket in musical form!

    2. JUST B, ‘Snow Angel’

Where warmth meets the winter chill.

True to its name, ‘Snow Angel’ by rising boy group JUST B captures the dual nature of winter: the beauty and the bite. This track layers ethereal melodies over a modern beat, creating an atmosphere that’s both chilly and heartwarming at once. Listening feels like drawing angel wings in fresh snow: on the surface it’s pure and serene, but underneath there’s a hint of loneliness. The song’s soaring chorus and electronic twists give it a hyperpop edge, yet the emotion in the members’ voices keeps things grounded and real. ‘Snow Angel’ explores love and longing in the cold, making it perfect for those reflective nights when you’re caught between smiling at sweet memories and shivering at the thought of missing someone. It’s bold, beautiful, and a little bittersweet, just like winter itself.

    3. CIX, ‘Everything’

A heartfelt harmony for frosty evenings.

CIX offers a tender moment with ‘Everything,’ a song that practically glows with sincerity. It’s a smooth mid-tempo pop ballad where gentle piano and soft beats cradle the group’s lush harmonies. Imagine walking home on a quiet, snowy night. ‘Everything’ is the soundtrack of that scene, turning simple moments into something cinematic. The lyrics (as the title hints) express total devotion, like telling someone “you’re my everything” under flickering winter lights. Vocals swell with feeling at the chorus, giving you that pleasant ache in your chest (you know the one). This track is all about the warmth of having someone to hold onto when the world outside is frozen. If you need a good cry or just a song to make you feel toasty inside, CIX has you covered!

    4. VANNER, ‘Blossom’

Love in full bloom, even in winter.

Who says nothing blooms in the cold? VANNER’s ‘Blossom’ brings a burst of hopeful color to your winter playlist. This mid-tempo pop gem starts off gentle: just a simple melody and their soulful voices drawing you in. The song builds like a flower opening up, adding layers of harmonies and subtle beats that feel as soft as a petal on skin. Lyrically, ‘Blossom’ is all about new love taking root. The members sing about roses and daisies, using flower imagery to paint a picture of love growing against the odds (yes, even in snowy weather!). Their falsettos are sweet and sincere, carrying the kind of emotion that makes you want to smile and maybe tear up a little. ‘Blossom’ is the track to play when you’re curled up with a blanket and hot cocoa, daydreaming about brighter days ahead! It reminds you that even in the depths of winter, something beautiful can bloom.

    5. TXT, ‘Wishlist’

Hype up the holidays, TXT style.

The holidays get a pop-rock upgrade with Tomorrow X Together’s ‘Wishlist.’ This song is basically a festive rom-com in audio form: upbeat guitar riffs, jingling bells, and the five TXT members pouring their youthful charm into every line. ‘Wishlist’ bounces along with a catchy energy that’ll have you bobbing your head (or dancing around the living room, no judgment!). Lyrically, it’s as relatable as it gets: the guys are scrambling to think of the perfect gift for someone special, and the excitement is palpable. You can almost see the twinkling lights and wrapped presents as they sing. When that chorus hits, it feels like running down the stairs on Christmas morning: pure, giddy anticipation! If you need a break from the usual carols and want something fresher for your winter playlist, TXT has the sparkling, feel-good anthem you’re looking for.

    6. WOO!AH!, ‘Catch the Stars’

A glittery pick-me-up on cold days.

Girl group WOO!AH! delivers a much-needed blast of optimism with ‘Catch the Stars.’ Released in the dead of winter, this track is like a burst of starlight cutting through a long, dark night. It’s powered by bright synths and an addictive chorus that lodges in your brain after one listen (in the best way possible). The whole song feels like an adventure: the kind where you bundle up, take a midnight walk under the city lights, and actually believe you might catch a shooting star. The members’ vocals shine with excitement, urging you to dream big even when it’s freezing out. ‘Catch the Stars’ is the kind of song you play when you need an energy boost on a cold morning or a companion for an evening of daydreaming. It’s bubbly, uplifting, and reminds you that winter nights can be just as magical as summer ones!

    7. ATEEZ, ‘Take Me Home’

    Late-night rides and neon lights.

When the temperature drops and you find yourself gazing out a foggy bus window, ATEEZ’s ‘Take Me Home’ is the song that completes the scene. This ATINY favorite B-side trades the group’s usual bombast for a sleek, 80s-inspired sound (think retro synths, a groovy bassline, and even a surprise saxophone solo that hits like a warm blast of nostalgia)! The mood is both melancholic and hopeful, capturing that feeling of cruising through city streets after dark with snow flurries in the headlights. Lyrically, ‘Take Me Home’ speaks to longing and finding your way, which just fits those reflective winter commutes. As the chorus soars, you can’t help but feel a swell of emotion (cue the goosebumps). It’s dramatic in the way K-pop does best, yet comforting like an old familiar song on a new night. Add this track when your winter playlist needs a touch of cool city pop vibe; it makes solitude feel cinematic, like you’re the main character in your own movie!

    8. NMIXX, ‘Funky Glitter Christmas’

A holiday party in a song.

Closing out our list with a bang (and some sparkles) is NMIXX’s ‘Funky Glitter Christmas.’ This track does exactly what it promises: it brings the funk, the glitter, and all the Christmas cheer you didn’t know you needed! NMIXX, one of the newer powerhouse girl groups, mixes retro holiday vibes with their signature quirky twists. The result? A song that feels like an instant party. Brass instruments and a bouncy beat give it a throwback flair, while the girls’ powerful vocals and playful ad-libs keep it ultra-modern. Play ‘Funky Glitter Christmas’ while you’re decorating the tree or having a cozy get-together with friends; it’ll turn your living room into a festive K-pop party. It’s catchy (warning: the chorus will live in your head rent-free), joyful, and just a little bit sassy. In other words, the perfect recipe to spice up those cold winter nights with a whole lot of fun.

  • 6 Fall Coffee Drinks Inspired By Your Favorite K-Pop Groups

    [ad_1]

Fall is in full swing, and you know what that means: cozy sweaters, pumpkin everything, and K-Pop comebacks heating up the charts. It’s the season of crunchy leaves and caffeine-fueled study sessions, all set to the soundtrack of your favorite idols. Ever wondered what would happen if those two obsessions (autumn coffee and K-Pop) collided? Here’s the tea (or rather, coffee): six fall coffee drinks that carry the same energy as your ultimate bias!

    1. P1Harmony’s Maple Harmony Latte

Picture a latte that brings together a symphony of flavors as smoothly as P1Harmony harmonizes on stage. The Maple Harmony Latte is all about balance: a warm maple syrup base mixed with velvety steamed milk and a shot of espresso for that energizing kick. It’s topped with a light cinnamon sprinkle, adding a subtle spice that keeps things interesting (just like P1Harmony’s genre-blending tracks). One sip and it all comes together in perfect harmony!

It mirrors the group’s vibe of combining edgy rap verses with honeyed vocals. You get the cozy fall feeling of maple (think weekend pancake brunch with friends), amped up by an unexpected cinnamon zing. The result? A latte that feels comforting yet dynamic, echoing P1Harmony’s cool confidence.

FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | MEMBERS’ TWITTER | OFFICIAL TWITTER | TIKTOK | YOUTUBE

    2. ATEEZ’s Treasure Chestnut Latte

The Treasure Chestnut Latte channels ATEEZ’s swashbuckling spirit with a rich espresso base, creamy chestnut praline syrup, and a touch of sea salt caramel. It’s basically a treasure chest of flavors: nutty sweetness, buttery caramel depth, and a hint of salt that might remind you of an ocean breeze on a crisp day. Dramatic? Sure. But if you’re an ATINY, you already know this group never does anything half-hearted!

This latte has layers, much like ATEEZ’s concept albums that unfold an epic story. One moment you taste the toasty chestnut (cozy like a campfire on deck), and the next comes that salty caramel note, a little surprise, like finding secret treasure at the bottom of your cup. There’s not even an ATINY bit of boredom here. It’s bold, energizing, and a little wild, just the way ATEEZ makes us feel with their performances.

    TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ATEEZ:
    FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | TIKTOK | TWITTER | WEBSITE | YOUTUBE

    3. NCT 127’s Cherry Bomb Mocha

Leave it to NCT 127 to turn a classic on its head. The Cherry Bomb Mocha starts as a familiar mocha (espresso, chocolate, cozy vibes), but then boom! It drops in a shot of black cherry syrup and even a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper. (Yes, you read that right.) This unexpected combo creates an explosive flavor burst, a nod to NCT 127’s knack for bold, out-of-the-box hits. It’s sweet, it’s spicy, it keeps you guessing with every sip. Sound familiar, NCTzens?

The first taste gives you that rich, chocolatey comfort (like the warm feeling you get hearing the opening notes of ‘Touch’), followed by a tangy cherry note. Just when you think you have it figured out, a subtle heat tingles on your tongue, not enough to burn, but enough to wake you up! Honestly, it’s a rollercoaster in a mug, much like NCT 127’s dynamic range.

    4. TWICE’s Twice Spice Latte

We all saw this coming, right? TWICE and pumpkin spice are a match made in fall heaven. The Twice Spice Latte gives the basic PSL a glow-up, doubling down on everything cozy. Think two shots of espresso for extra pep (because TWICE always brings the energy), a generous pump of pumpkin spice syrup, and a pump of maple syrup. Top it off with whipped cream and a dusting of nutmeg and cinnamon, and you’ve got a drink as irresistible as a TWICE chorus that you just can’t get out of your head.

The blend of pumpkin and maple creates a sweet medley that’s vibrant but not overwhelming, kind of like TWICE’s mix of nine distinct personalities in one group. Whether you’re strolling through the park, crunching leaves underfoot, or rearranging your photo card book in your room, a Twice Spice Latte in hand makes it that much sweeter!

    5.IVE’s Dive Into Fall Latte

IVE might be one of the newer groups on the scene, but they’ve already proven they’re trendsetters, and their inspired drink is no exception. The Dive Into Fall Latte starts with a smooth toffee nut base (sweet and nutty, just like IVE’s charming yet polished style) and adds a surprise hint of crisp green apple syrup. It’s an elegant caramel-toffee latte at first sip, but then you catch that subtle apple tang on the finish, keeping it fresh and interesting.

You get the rich, buttery toffee warmth up front (cue the luxurious vibes of ‘After Like’), followed by a playful fruity note that says “Hey, we’re young, we’re having fun” (hello, ‘Love Dive’ energy). Like an IVE stage outfit: perfectly put together with a touch of whimsy. It’s sophisticated yet youthful, basically an edible form of their on-stage confidence!

    6. LE SSERAFIM’s Fearless Chai Latte

When LE SSERAFIM said, “I’m fearless,” they meant it, and this fall drink takes that attitude straight to the taste buds. The Fearless Chai Latte isn’t your average cozy chai. It’s got a double espresso shot (for that don’t-mess-with-me strength) blended with spiced chai tea and a swirl of mocha, because why not break a few rules? This latte packs a punch: aromatic cardamom and ginger from the chai, robust coffee depth, and a sultry chocolate finish. It’s the kind of drink that stands tall and unapologetic about being extra. Fear not, it’s supposed to be intense!

From the first sip, you get hit with spicy-sweet chai flavor, bold and intriguing, much like LE SSERAFIM’s bold tracks that keep you on your toes. Then comes the smooth espresso bitterness, grounding you like the group’s confident vocals over an edgy beat. Finally, a whisper of chocolate lingers at the end, a reward for those fearless enough to try this unique blend. It’s indulgent? Sure. Empowering? Definitely. Dare to sip it, and you just might feel as courageous as the music that inspired it.

  • P1Harmony’s EX Explodes With Genre‑Hopping Charm

    [ad_1]

P1Harmony aren’t content to sit back and coast on past wins. Just a year after topping charts with ‘DUH!,’ the six‑member group are back with EX, a five‑track mini album designed with the Western market in mind and delivered with a creative genre blend that’s rare in 4th‑generation K‑pop. It’s their first English‑language collection, yet it closes with a Spanish version of the title track, proving that this crew aren’t afraid to stretch their sound or their languages.

Image Source: Courtesy of FNC Entertainment

From their world tour to daytime‑TV appearances and an ever‑growing global fan base, the stakes for P1Harmony have never been higher. So does EX live up to the hype? Here’s the thing: rather than delivering a safe, uniform sound, the group lean into variety and personality. Each song feels like a conversation with a different side of the band; at times playful, at others introspective, and occasionally downright celebratory. That diversity is both the album’s hook and its charm!

‘EX:’ Synth‑Pop Sparkle With A Playful Message

The opening and title track, ‘EX,’ is a shimmering synth‑pop anthem built on catchy hooks and crisp digital textures. It’s light and breezy, almost like stumbling onto a carefree afternoon on a boardwalk. The lyrics, delivered entirely in English, celebrate independence and self‑discovery without sounding preachy. There’s even a gently feminist streak in the way the chorus suggests every woman deserves to explore and have fun without needing permission or an explanation. With Keeho and Jiung sharing centre stage, the song’s bright vocal interplay underpins a melody that lingers long after the final synth sweeps.

Listening closely, you can sense the group’s desire to expand their sonic palette. The title track’s production folds in soft digital textures and spirited rap verses, but the heart of the song lies in its chorus; an earworm that borrows from 80s synth‑pop while keeping one foot firmly planted in 2025. It’s the kind of tune you could imagine blasting in an arena or singing along to at a festival, which makes sense given that EX arrives just before their largest U.S. tour yet.

‘Dancing Queen:’ Pop‑Rock Euphoria With A Nostalgic Glow

Then P1Harmony pivot into pop‑rock territory. ‘Dancing Queen’ is the EP’s stadium‑ready moment, driven by buoyant guitars and the group’s commanding vocals. You know what? It recalls the energy of classic boy band anthems without feeling like a throwback. Keeho’s vocal tone pairs with Theo’s warm harmonies, creating a chorus that feels destined for late‑night singalongs.

What sets ‘Dancing Queen’ apart is its effortless blend of sweetness and edge. In the lyrics, the protagonist invites their lover to own the night and dance without apology. The instrumentation shimmers with layered guitars and a driving beat, and there’s a subtle nod to 70s disco in the groove, yet the song never slips into pastiche. It’s playful and earnest in equal measure; the kind of track that would fit right over the credits of a feel‑good rom‑com!

‘Stupid Brain:’ Emotional Honesty Wrapped In Downtempo Grooves

If ‘Dancing Queen’ is all about letting loose, ‘Stupid Brain’ turns inward. The track opens with lush strings and almost orchestral drama before flipping into a hip‑hop‑tinged beat. That contrast might sound chaotic on paper, but it works, creating a unique blend that showcases the group’s versatility. While the production nods to mid‑90s R&B, the song’s structure is thoroughly modern, with bubbled synths and a downtempo groove that feels tailor‑made for a rainy‑day playlist.

Lyrically, ‘Stupid Brain’ is relatable to anyone who has ever overthought a situation. The song expresses the frustration of being stuck in your own head, unable to silence intrusive thoughts even when surrounded by friends. The melody dips and sways, giving space for introspection, and Keeho’s soulful delivery underscores the vulnerability of the message. A surprise guitar solo midway through adds a classic rock flavor, bridging the song’s orchestral intro with its pop‑R&B core!

Honestly, it’s the EP’s heart, offering a glimpse into the group’s emotional range. While it might not explode like a single, it’s the kind of track listeners return to when they need to feel heard.

‘Night of My Life:’ 2010s EDM Nostalgia Meets Unbridled Joy

Just when you think the EP might settle into moody reflection, ‘Night of My Life’ bursts through with sparkling EDM‑inspired energy. The song is pure, unadulterated fun. It’s simple, self‑hyping lyrics revolve around embracing the moment, dancing under the stars and having the best night possible, echoing the carefree charm of early 2010s pop anthems. There’s a playful electronic whistle that punctuates the chorus, and the beat builds to a euphoric drop that wouldn’t feel out of place in a DJ set.

Fans of LMFAO or early Calvin Harris will appreciate how ‘Night of My Life’ channels the party‑rock spirit of that era while giving P1Harmony space to show off their vocal agility. In a clever twist, Intak takes a turn singing on the final chorus, adding texture to the track’s soaring finale. If ‘Stupid Brain’ is for introspective nights, this song is for living in the moment; a high‑energy reminder that sometimes joy should simply be embraced!

‘EX (Spanish Version):’ Bridging Cultures With A Bilingual Banger

Closing the EP is a Spanish version of the title track; an unexpected twist that underscores P1Harmony’s eagerness to reach beyond linguistic boundaries. It’s the group’s first official Spanish release, following their earlier covers and Latin‑inspired songs like ‘Sad Song,’ and it reveals a comfort with the language that feels authentic rather than forced. The playful lyrics remain, but hearing them delivered with a different cadence gives the melody a brand‑new dimension.

Culturally, the move is significant. K‑pop acts rarely produce full Spanish versions of their songs, and when they do, it’s often as a one‑off novelty. Here, P1Harmony treat the Spanish version as a natural extension of the original, not just a marketing gimmick. For bilingual P1ece, it’s a thrill to hear familiar words roll off their tongues; for monolingual listeners, it’s a testament to the universality of pop music. Either way, the track signals the group’s commitment to building community across borders, a sentiment echoed throughout their broader discography!

Beyond The Music: Creative Control And A Tour To Match

Part of what makes EX compelling is the group’s hands‑on approach. Members Keeho, Jiung, Intak and Jongseob are credited as creative producers, continuing a tradition of deep involvement that fans have come to expect. That creative input is evident in the EP’s thoughtful sequencing and willingness to experiment. From synth‑pop to pop‑rock, R&B, EDM and Latin pop, the project moves effortlessly between genres without feeling disjointed, a testament to both the group’s musicianship and the production team’s vision.

The timing of EX’s release isn’t accidental. It drops just ahead of P1Harmony’s largest U.S. arena tour, P1ustage H: Most Wanted, which is scheduled to hit major cities like Newark, Chicago and Los Angeles before heading to Latin America. Pairing an English‑heavy EP with a multilingual tour is a savvy move: it gives new listeners an accessible entry point while rewarding longtime fans with fresh material. The tracks on EX are designed to translate well to live stages; imagine the opening synths of ‘EX’ echoing through an arena, the guitar licks of ‘Dancing Queen’ sparking a singalong, or the EDM drop in ‘Night of My Life’ triggering a sea of light sticks.

Final Verdict: A Polished Yet Adventurous Detour

So, is EX worth your time? Absolutely! At just over fifteen minutes long, the EP packs more variety into its runtime than many full‑length albums. Its five tracks feel like distinct chapters in a cohesive narrative, each revealing a different facet of P1Harmony’s artistry. The members’ vocals shine, the production is tight, and the willingness to experiment, linguistically and stylistically, keeps the project feeling fresh!

For longtime stans, EX offers another layer to a discography that already spans boom‑bap hip‑hop, hyper‑pop, reggaeton and synth‑driven anthems. For newcomers, it’s an accessible introduction to a group poised for global growth. More than anything, the EP serves as a reminder that pop music can be both fun and thoughtful, polished and playful. It’s a genre‑blurring, multilingual journey that leaves you wondering: if this is just a mini album, what sonic adventures might P1Harmony embark on next?

‘Welcome To’ P1Harmony’s Most Versatile Comeback Yet: SAD SONG!

    [ad_1]

The dark horse of K-Pop has done it again! Nothing makes us happier than celebrating P1Harmony’s talent, so we’re here to scream from our rooftops that our favorite group is back better than ever. Their newest mini, SAD SONG, is the best thing that could’ve happened to us, and we need to chat about it!

After the release of Killin’ It, we were in awe by what these six talented members can create, and SAD SONG has truly solidified them as our K-Pop essentials! This comeback brings us seven new songs that have left us speechless, and it is such an embodiment of what P1Harmony strives to do with every project: explore different musical styles while adding the touches that could only be made by them. All the tracks are bops in their own way! KEEHO, THEO, JIUNG, INTAK, SOUL, and JONGSEOB have made it very clear that their music keeps improving with every release. There are no limits as to what the group can create! Plus, the six members have been extremely involved in making SAD SONG. From writing and composing the tracks to creatively crafting the concepts, P1Harmony is the real deal, and they’re here to showcase it once again. Being a P1ece is a gift that keeps on giving!

Image Source: Courtesy of FNC Entertainment

Now that we’ve hyped you up to get closer to P1Harmony’s unique artistry, let’s take a closer look at every song from SAD SONG!

    ‘SAD SONG’

P1Harmony never misses with their title tracks, but this one has been instantly crowned as their best title track ever. It is also the best choice to start our listening party with its explosiveness! The group has done such a great job of combining all of their individual strengths into this Latin-inspired song. It’s totally new and fresh, and it’s also a perfect fit for their flawless discography. If there is something that we do when P1Harmony releases bangers like this is learn the signature moves! Not only that but ‘SAD SONG’ has fire verses and flawless vocals (we are never recovering from THEO’s voice during the bridge). What else do you need to make it the queen of your playlists? We also got an English version of this perfect title track at the end of the project, which finishes it on such a warm and fun note. We can’t help but be incredibly proud of our favorite six!

‘SAD SONG’s’ music video is also legendary! It’s incredibly dynamic, with so many colorful and fun scenes that tie together with the group’s dedication to becoming the heroes that we need. The video includes so many references to P1Harmony’s previous eras (RIP Killin’ It, you will never be forgotten) and the rest of the tracks from this comeback as well. It’s time to rewatch it as many times as possible to catch all these hidden clues!

    ‘It’s Alright’

The second track of every P1Harmony release is a masterpiece. ‘Late Night Calls?’ Incredible. ‘Reset?’ An instant banger. ‘Black Hole?’ A classic. The boys had to keep their streak going with ‘It’s Alright,’ and they’ve blown our expectations out of the water! This song flows so smoothly with such a great instrumental, and the adlibs throughout it?! They’re the best they’ve ever been! Are we also allowed to freak out about the bridge and the high note on the final chorus? It’s an absolute chef’s kiss from top to bottom! Now, if you excuse us, we will be singing KEEHO’s addictive “I don’t wonder, I don’t wonder, who cares” all day, every day. Our favorite leader has the best vocals we’ve ever heard!

    ‘Last Call’

Welcome back, iconic boyband music! If you were (and still are, let’s be honest here) a big fan of the hits we got over the 2010s, ‘Last Call’ is for you! This song has such a special sweetness and nostalgia added to it that makes us want to jump around and live life to the fullest. We’re so happy the members have created a melody like this! JIUNG was in charge of composing this track, and we couldn’t have chosen a better musical genius to give us this gem. Also, you know us: we’re already visualizing all these songs with their respective stages, and ‘Last Call’ is one of our must-see performances. We need this track to be a staple encore on P1Harmony’s live setlist! We can already imagine the six of them having fun on stage and enjoying every memory with P1eces 🥹 We will indeed be “partying ’til the end” with this song!

    ‘Welcome To’

Have you ever wanted a song that captures the excitement that you get before starting something anew? ‘Welcome To’ is the perfect soundtrack for those moments! This track is as electric as the six members, and we can’t get enough of it. It has already become our hype track to get us up and start our days with expectations of what’s to come! The group was really smart for choosing this song as the start of the SAD SONG era with the OUT OF CONTEXT prologue. Also, we have to talk about the bridge! SOUL, who has so many unique parts in this comeback, is what we needed to make this song even better! We know we just got this release in our hands, but we’re already calling it b-side royalty.

This song screams tour opener! You don’t understand how much we need P1Harmony to open their next performances with this beat. It’s ideal to warm up the audience once the curtain is up!

    ‘All You’

The cutesy tracks from P1Harmony’s discography are everything to us, and we’re so happy we get to add this one to the list with SAD SONG! Following the nostalgia of the styles used in previous tracks with an additional touch of coolness, ‘All You’ gives us a taste of P1Harmony’s underrated side. We already feel like we are in a dream with the piano in the intro, and it only keeps getting better and better as we listen to the whole thing! We feel like this song really focuses on the members’ unique colors in their vocals. It’s so incredible how we, as P1eces, can distinguish each of the boys’ voices and realize how much they’ve grown as artists. ‘All You’ has made us even fonder of the group’s broad musical range!

    ‘WASP’

In case you haven’t noticed it yet, SAD SONG has easily become the most iconic P1Harmony mini ever, and this final track is one of the big reasons why. No, you’re not dreaming: we finally got their first unit track! ‘WASP’ features INTAK and JONGSEOB (the best two rappers in K-Pop’s 4th gen, if you ask us) in an incredible hip-hop beat. We already got chills with the rhythm, but the jaw-dropping verses make this song a masterpiece. One of our favorite things ever is listening to these two incredibly talented members going back and forth on their verses, so we already knew this one was going to be a special one. The whole track is even more addictive than the preview we’ve been replaying 24/7! We will be praising it and treasuring it forever 🙏 Step aside “my root came 2005,” you have a new queen in front of you!

We are so proud of P1Harmony for releasing such incredible bangers in SAD SONG! This comeback’s quality is a complete 10/10, and we have so much fun unlocking new musical styles with them. We’re so happy we get to see them growing so much, and we can’t wait to see what this era brings to the group’s unstoppable success!

Do you love SAD SONG as much as we do? What’s your favorite track from P1Harmony’s new comeback? Let us know in the comments below, or tell us over on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

  • Gov Ball 2024: Who We Will Be Barricade For

Gov Ball 2024: Who We Will Be Barricade For

    [ad_1]

It’s summer and you know what that means? Summer music festivals! We will be heading to the Great Apple this week for Gov Ball 2024 and we are so excited! To get us ready to dance the night away, here are the artists that we will be barricade for this year.

    Reneé Rapp

Y’all already know how much we adore Reneé Rapp. This has really been a year of incredible music and performances from our favorite person. She’s graced the stages of Boston Calling and Coachella and now she will be performing Sunday night at 6:30pm on Gov Ball’s main stage! We cannot wait to be back singing ‘Tummy Hurts’ with our favorite little lesbian intern. Maybe she’ll bring out Coco Jones to perform with her… If she does, just know that we will probably pass out in excitement.

    Chappell Roan

Chappell Roan has been having a massive year! She has also graced a few festival stages this year and had the largest audience size at Boston Calling for a non-headliner. We are absolutely obsessed with our queen, Chappell, and are ready to do the ‘HOT TO GO!’ dance with our fellow Chappell fans in NYC. She is playing on Sunday at the main stage at 4:45pm, right before our other queen, Reneé.

    Post Malone

One of our favorite artists, Post Malone is headlining Gov Ball on Friday at 8:30pm and you know we are going to be front row and center for him. We cannot wait to see him in a festival setting and are so curious to see what his set list is going to be like. And we need to hear ‘Enough is Enough’ live!

    Quarters of Change

We only recently found out about Quarters of Change and we are so glad we did! Quarters of Change is a NYC-based rock band that has gained millions of streams and sold out numerous shows over their career. They even got invited to play with the Jonas Brothers in Albany, which opened them up to a completely new fanbase. They are playing on Saturday at 2pm on the main stage and we cannot wait to hear ‘Turn It Away’ live.

    Sabrina Carpenter

Our girl Sabrina Carpenter is playing the main stage on Sunday and we are so ready for our pop queen to grace the stage. We haven’t gotten to see ‘Espresso‘ live and we already know it’s going to be so iconic. She is playing at 4:50pm right before Carly Rae Jepsen and we cannot wait for the non-stop pop hits coming from them.

    P1Harmony

One of our fave KPOP groups, P1Harmony, is playing Gov Ball on Saturday. They’ll be at the IHG stage at 3:45pm and we cannot wait to be with our P1eces dancing and singing to our favorite songs. It’s been so nice to see the K-POP genre finally become represented in America’s music festivals.

    Saint Levant

Saint Levant is someone who we only recently came to discover and we are so glad for it. Saint Levant is a Jerusalum-born Palestinian multi-language rapper that is based in Los Angeles. His track, ‘5am in Paris’ is one of our favorite releases of 2024. Saint Levant will be performing on the GoPuff stage at 2:40pm on Sunday and we 100% be in that crowd. We cannot wait to see his set and what songs he will choose.

    Arcy Drive

Arcy Drive is a NY band that has been on the rise since their start in 2022. They will be playing Friday at 1:30pm on the GoPuff stage. Although their debut studio album will not be released until later this year, the band has created a massive buzz around them with playing over 70 shows and sold out their hometown NY show in 2023 alone. We are so stoked to get to see them perform and already know it’s going to be a good time.

    Claire Rosinkranz

Y’all know when we saw Claire Rosinkranz on the Gov Ball lineup that we screamed. We are absolutely obsessed with her and cannot wait to finally see her on a festival stage. She will be on the IHG stage at 2:40pm and we cannot wait to scream ‘i’m too pretty for this’ with our fellow Claire stans.

Make sure you get tickets to Gov Ball 2024 before they sell out!
