But I can’t lie—some of my teacher planning days weren’t exactly the productivity powerhouse I needed them to be, and I know I’m not alone. Many educators struggle to make the most of their planning periods due to a variety of classroom and administrative demands that just aren’t conducive to effective work. Plus, the added burden of having to switch your brain from “performing” in teaching to “planning” as a teacher in the future is a hard switch to make! 1. Take 1-3 minutes to jot down exactly what you want to achieve.
