  • Jason and Travis Kelce’s Beer Company Is Seeing Huge Growth—and Just Landed a Big Hollywood Partnership

    [ad_1]

A new trailer reveals that Jason Kelce and Garage Beer have joined forces with the “Predator: Badlands” film for their new short, “Thermal Buzz.”

The short features Kelce and former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Beau Allen dawning camo, running through the jungle battling Predators. “Garage Beer saved my life,” Kelce says at the start of the trailer, before the music picks up over an action-packed montage.

The project is Kelce’s tribute to the original 1987 “Predator,” ahead of the new movie that hits theaters on November 7.

“As a ’90s kid, there’s nothing I loved more than a good action movie,” Kelce says. “In my mind, it’s hard to find a movie more iconic than ‘Predator’… We’re just pumped that our short film can be part of the moment.”

“Thermal Buzz” is Kelce’s third short film with Garage Beer. He and brother Travis Kelce acquired stakes in the company in June 2024. Within the year, Garage Beer reported over 400 percent volume growth, and it had clinched a strategic growth investment from Durational Capital Management.

The deal values the beer company at $200 million, and according to Chief Executive Andy Sauer, it’s set to secure between $60 million and $70 million this year. Last year, revenue hit just below $20 million.

The Kelce brothers are more than investors, establishing themselves the faces of the brand.

“It’s pretty emblematic on how they both operate,” Sauer says. “It’s an always-on relationship. It’s two people with the same vision and belief in beer, jumping into it.”

While a 30-second ad ran during commercial breaks on Sunday in between NFL games, the full short will premiere Friday.

Travis Kelce Impresses Coachella Crowd By Tossing Taylor Swift 50 Feet Across Grounds

INDIO, CA—In a viral video clip that left fans fawning over the celebrity couple, Travis Kelce reportedly tossed Taylor Swift 50 feet across the festival grounds at Coachella Saturday night. “He picked her up and hurled her like it was nothing,” said 25-year-old Brooke Renny, just one of dozens of festivalgoers who captured cell phone footage of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end as he held the pop star over his head, spun 360 degrees, and then sent her hurtling over the crowd. “You could tell she was saying ‘Throw me! Throw me!’ into his ear, and then he did. He whipped her across the grounds so easily—it was so cute. She just went soaring over the heads of everyone in the crowd.” At press time, Renny was gushing over another viral video that showed Kelce spiking Swift into the ground.

  • NFL’s Kelce Brothers Want To Bring Back Your Fave Childhood Game

NFL’s Kelce Brothers Want To Bring Back Your Fave Childhood Game

    [ad_1]

Omnipresent brothers, Travis and Jason Kelce (who are NFL players, commercial stars, SNL hosts, podcasters, and members of Taylor Swift’s inner circle) are looking to add a game development feather to their caps—specifically, they want to reboot ‘90s classics Backyard Football and Backyard Baseball. Whether or not you’re a member of the Kansas City Chiefs Kingdom, a birds (Philadelphia Eagles) loyalist, or a Swiftie, you can’t deny that this is a great idea.

On the January 31 episode of their New Heights podcast, Travis asked his brother Jason if he remembered Backyard Football, which debuted two years after the first game in the Humongous Entertainment-developed (and Atari published) franchise, Backyard Baseball. The premise is simple: neighborhood kids get together and create teams to play pick-up versions of baseball, football, and soccer. Players take on the role of manager, selecting the teams and making in-game decisions in either quick play matches or an entire season’s worth of games. For many of us, it was a seminal part of our childhood gaming experiences—for me specifically, I still spout off some of the sayings squawked by the in-game baseball announcer, Vinnie the Gooch.

Jason Kelce also fondly remembers Backyard Football—so much so he wants to reboot the damn thing. “I don’t even know if I want to mention this, I’ve secretly been looking into seeing if anybody holds the rights to Backyard Football and Backyard Baseball, ‘cause I want to buy it and get this going again—that was the best game ever.” Kelce then suggests that the game would be perfect on mobile, and he’s not wrong—it certainly didn’t require all that much processing power.

The Kelce brothers are certified geniuses if they reboot the Backyard franchise—and it’s not just because those games are awesome and tons of people would be on-board for the nostalgia alone. Specifically, the genius behind rebooting the franchise lies in later versions of the games: both Backyard Baseball 2011 and Backyard Football 2002 (and Backyard Soccer: MLS Edition, which I loved), added professional athletes to the neighborhood kid mix, animated to fit the art style of the games. That meant you got to play alongside a big-headed Derek Jeter or Brett Favre, who rubbed elbows with schoolyard icons like Pablo Sanchez and the Weber twins.

Imagine a modern version of that, with a little cartoon Travis Kelce doing the swag surf? I’m so down. As spotted by IGN and corroborated by Kotaku, American legal information site Justia states that the Backyard Sports trademark is owned by Day 6 Sports Group, who developed the last games in the franchise back in 2015. The Day 6 Sports Group website link is a dead-end, and its Twitter account hasn’t been active since May 4, 2015.

    Kelce bros, get to work.

  • This Moment Between Travis Kelce & Brother Jason Is Bringing Taylor Swift Fans To Tears – Perez Hilton

This Moment Between Travis Kelce & Brother Jason Is Bringing Taylor Swift Fans To Tears – Perez Hilton

    [ad_1]

Everyone is talking about the intimate moments between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift after the AFC Championship game on Sunday. And rightfully so, of course. It’s so cute!

But an older and deeper relationship was on full display, too. In a heartwarming moment, Travis’ big brother Jason Kelce, who plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles, got to greet his brother after his big win. And the moment turned so emotional!

These two boys grew up just two years apart, with Travis always in the shadow of the more successful Jason. Then they both got into the NFL and found their own wins — eventually starting a podcast together in which fans got to join in as they teased and supported one another. And then they faced off in the Super Bowl, the first brothers ever to do so! So the history between these two as both brothers and ballers is so rich.

Photos: Taylor Swift Celebrates Travis’ Win With His Family In Cute Pics!

In the video of their meetup on the field, Travis is obviously still pumped from the win. But just a couple key words from big bro nearly DESTROY the Big Yeti. Jason, his voice on the edge of cracking, says in his ear:

“You’re the best in the world. I know it wasn’t easy. I know it was a hard year.”

At that, Travis was visibly shaking to keep from crying. But the big guys patted each other with blows that would have snapped normal-sized men in half and somehow kept from breaking down ugly-crying right there on the field of victory. Jason continues:

“And you guys f**king played through. Finish it for me. Finish this motherf**ker.”

Travis responds, voice overpowering the tears:

“Takin’ it to the mountain. One more f**king game. How about it?”

To understand how much that means, that “finish it for me,” you have to understand this was probably Jason’s final year in the NFL (for more on that, see the fantastic documentary Kelce). He didn’t get to go out on a Super Bowl win, but cheering on his brother’s journey may be the next best thing. No wonder he went so wild the previous week! “I love how emotional Jason kelce is! That’s a real man!

“Travis never let him down after his second chance. Big bro is proud”

  • Travis Kelce buys $6-million mansion in Kansas for privacy. That’s real estate (Taylor’s Version)

Travis Kelce buys $6-million mansion in Kansas for privacy. That’s real estate (Taylor’s Version)

    [ad_1]

A certain Kansas City football star just bought a multimillion-dollar mansion in Kansas allegedly over privacy concerns as he dates a really famous pop singer-turned-box-office-sensation.

We speak of course of two-time Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce, whose recent purchase is being billed as “a desperate bid for more privacy surrounding his newfound romance with Taylor Swift,” according to Page Six.

The Chiefs tight end, 34, closed the deal Tuesday, TMZ first reported, and is set to become the proud new owner of a nearly 17,000-square-foot home in a private gated community that boasts six bedrooms and eight bathrooms — because $6 million goes a really long way in the Ad Astra State where the median sale price for a home is $258,700. (Compare that to $780,000 in star-studded California, $952,000 in Los Angeles and $760,550 in New York City, according to real estate website Redfin.)

Previous reports indicated that the home was located in Kansas City, but the sprawling pad is actually a property in Leawood, Kan. The sale is still pending, according to the property’s Redfin listing.

The property, built in 1998, is said to be perched on three acres of land and has a “Beverly Hills”-style pool area with a waterfall, a tennis and pickleball court and a miniature golf course, the New York Post reported. Honestly, we’re disappointed it doesn’t have a “seemingly ranch”-style layout, but it does have a six-car garage and wine cellar. The home was originally listed in September 2022 for $6.9 million, and the pending sale price listed on Redfin currently stands at $5,999,950.

TMZ reported that the NFL star upgraded because he needed more privacy as Taylormania ramps up around him. Apparently, his old place was too accessible and was becoming a “mini tourist attraction” as his romance with the “Anti-Hero” and “Girl at Home” singer heated up. Fans and paparazzi reportedly staked out his address when Swift paid him a visit there earlier this month.

“His former humble abode just wasn’t cutting it when it came to impressing his new love interest, Swift,” the Post said Thursday. “Insiders revealed that Kelce was feeling a tad ‘self-conscious’ about his relatively modest pad and decided it was time to take things up a notch. The reason? Winning over the heart of Swift, who is no stranger to the world of luxury. It seems Kelce wanted to match the grandeur of her lifestyle, and this new residence might just do the trick.”

Um, ever tried smiles and flowers instead?

The Post reported that the luxury purchase also aligns with the football star’s recent pay raise. The tight end’s salary reportedly jumped from $2.9 million in 2022 to $11.2 million this year. Plus, he’s taken part in several high-profile endorsement deals, with brands including Pfizer, Nike, Bud Light and State Farm.

The “Welcome to New York” singer-songwriter, of course, lives primarily in the Big Apple — and Kelce was seen leaving that pad over the weekend. The 12-time Grammy Award winner is something of a real estate investor, with roughly $150 million in real-estate holdings, according to a May estimate in the Wall Street Journal. Swift has bought and sold several properties in Nashville, Beverly Hills, Rhode Island and the United Kingdom.

Swift, 33, and Kelce have been palling around for the better part of a month after the football star revealed in late September that he “threw the ball in her court.” Kelce took in the “Blank Space” singer’s record-breaking Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium, and Swift caused a full-on media frenzy with her appearances at the football star’s games. (The Taylor effect even got the “Saturday Night Live” treatment last weekend, with Kelce getting in on the action last minute.)

Although they haven’t directly said a whole lot about their relationship status, the pair repeatedly stepped out together while holding hands and packing on the PDA last weekend — and while notching those guest-appearance spots on “SNL.”

On Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which Kelce co-hosts with his older brother and fellow NFL player Jason Kelce, the siblings also addresssed a viral moment from Kelce’s weekend outing with Swift in which he appeared to “push” a security guard.

“I didn’t push him, I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him. If I would’ve pushed him, he probably would’ve turned around and tased me,” said the younger Kelce.

“That sounds like a way that somebody who pushed somebody would describe pushing them,” Jason Kelce quipped.

Swift’s new beau added that he tries to be chivalrous on dates.

“I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always like having like the sense of like I’m a man in the situation,” he said. “I’m protective for sure — you always kind of have that feeling or that self-awareness.”

And some of that self-awareness has extended into his wardrobe, with the football star addressing some of the fan feedback about his “Taylor’s curtains” sartorial selections.

Times staff writer Jonah Valdez contributed to this report.
