Sunny & warmer for Sunday

PORTLAND, Oregon — The weekend started off with some sunshine for some of us,  then clouds started to roll in, but much of the valley was dry except for folks in the central and southern part of the valley. Saturday afternoon brought in a few showers and even some thunderstorms.

Those thunderstorms will continue into the early part of Saturday evening before conditions start to calm down a bit. Sunday morning will start off with a few clouds, but by the afternoon sunny and nice with highs around the upper 60s to the low 70s. 

Cooler weather and showers return Monday and Tuesday, but warm, clear weather rebounds quickly, with highs back in the 70s later next week.
