Summer begins sunny and warm

PORTLAND, Oregon — Portland hit 87-degrees on Wednesday, the final day of Spring.
The first day of Summer will be warmer, as temperatures make 90-degrees for the third time this year. We keep the mainly clear weather through Saturday.
Friday will be the warmest day of this stretch, with highs in the low 90s.
We drop into the upper 80s Saturday, but more robust cooling arrives Saturday night.
Morning clouds will give way to sunshine Sunday, with highs in the upper 70s.
Mostly sunny weather with pleasant temperatures peaking in the 70s to 80 degrees takes us through the middle of next week.
