Going Merry announces MerryApps: A way for high school and college students to apply to more scholarships in less time

Press Release

updated: Feb 26, 2019

Going Merry, a free online platform which helps students find and apply to scholarships from one place, has introduced MerryApps to help students win more scholarships in less time. By completing a MerryApp, students are applying to multiple scholarships through one simple online application, with one essay. What would normally take countless hours of searching, completing different applications, and writing essays now takes 30 minutes or less.

“80% of our high school students find the process of paying for college extremely stressful,” said Charlie Maynard, Cofounder of Going Merry. “We want to reduce this stress by helping them to apply to scholarships as quickly as possible.”

In addition to MerryApps, Going Merry hosts thousands of individual scholarships for students of all backgrounds. Every student that joins is matched with hundreds of thousands of dollars in available scholarships, and a unique algorithm helps students to apply for the scholarships they have the best chance of winning.

Students can learn more about MerryApps and sign up for free at https://www.goingmerry.com

With a presence in over 6,000 high schools across the country, Going Merry has become a single destination for scholarship seekers to get matched and apply online, absolutely free.

About Going Merry: Going Merry makes it easy for students to find and apply for scholarships and simple for providers to manage them. As a team, we come together from different backgrounds and skill sets but share the same mission: to give every student equal access to life-changing education through scholarships.
