CHESTER COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA — Powerful storms Sunday night left a path of destruction stretching across several counties in South Carolina.

The National Weather Service damage survey team has found straight line wind damage stretching from Chester to Lancaster to Kershaw counties. Winds are estimated at 60-70 mph with some 80 mph +.
