The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that NBA player Stephen Curry is currently developing a coming-of-age basketball comedy film called Trick Shot, with The Wizards of Waverly Place David Henrie attached to serve as a producer.

“We’re excited to continue Unanimous Media’s storytelling in sports with Trick Shot, a fun and spirited project that brings us back to the big dreams we had as kids,” Curry and producing partner Erick Peyton said in a joint statement. “Working alongside our partners, we’re excited to develop this story to warm the hearts of audiences, showing what happens when the impossible becomes reality.”

“The comedy centers on a middle school student who is dismal at basketball until a freak accident occurs, and he suddenly can’t miss a shot. His newfound hoops talent leads him to become an unexpected NBA rookie, where he is soon an integral member of his favorite team,” reads the logline.
