Comebacks and reunions continue to surface as the nostalgia for the ’90s continues to grow. One such comeback is a brand new Staind album, which will be the band’s first effort since 2011. Staind guitarist Mike Mushok revealed the long-awaited new album will be out in 2023 alongside some shows during a recent interview with the Talk Toomey podcast.

Staind is finishing up an album, actually,” said Mushok. “That’ll be out next year. And I think there’s some shows that’ll be next year as well. So we’re kind of juggling all of that.”

Vocalist Aaron Lewis previously stated the band was working on the album in 2021 and were shooting for a 2022 release date, which obviously didn’t happen. The band has since embarked on both a casino tour and a tour with Korn, and released a new live album called Live: It’s Been Awhile. So it’s not like they’ve been siting on their asses either, especially with all their side-projects.
