Charlotte, North Carolina Local News
Spotty areas of rain, patchy fog tonight
[ad_1]
CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Tonight
A few spotty showers could linger through the early evening hours. After that, we’ll track patchy drizzle overnight with low clouds and fog tomorrow morning.
Thursday
Locally dense fog is likely with sunshine mixing in throughout the afternoon. Expect a partly sunny sky with highs in the low 80s. A few showers are possible but the risk is low. Watch for better rain chances in the mountains and foothills!
Friday & This Weekend
Sky conditions will improve even more to end the work week. There’s only a 20% chance of rain Friday afternoon and we turn mostly dry the whole weekend! Highs are in the low 80s Friday and mid-upper 80s this weekend.
Tropical Update
We’re monitoring the western Caribbean and southern Gulf of Mexico for tropical development over the next seven days. Elsewhere, the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon are trying to reform but will not impact land.
