SLED investigation underway at South Carolina State University

University officials said Friday that state agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) are handling an investigation involving campus police. A university spokesperson deferred to SLED for additional information but said the campus was not on lockdown.

A SLED spokesperson said it was requested to investigate the shooting but did not confirm additional details regarding what parties were involved in the incident.
