Silver Alert issued for missing Burlingame woman

(KRON) — Authorities are asking for the community’s help in finding a missing woman, California Highway Patrol (CHP) announced on X. A Silver Alert was issued for Lai Chan, 76, who was reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 13 out of Burlingame and is believed to be on foot.

Chan was last seen near Burlingame Avenue and Park Road at around 12:30 p.m. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, black pants and black shoes.

She is 5-foot-4 tall and weighs 135 pounds, according to CHP. Chan has brown eyes and black/gray hair.

If you locate Chan, CHP asks you to call 9-1-1.
