Signed Michael Jordan jersey, sports memorabilia found by volunteers in the Bonita Beach mangroves

BONITA BEACH, Fla. — While trash is expected to be found after Hurricane Ian’s mess, one volunteer clean-up crew came across a valuable treasure.

A signed Michael Jordan jersey, along with other sports memorabilia was found in the mangroves off Bonita Beach.

It was an exciting find for Rebuild SWFL. The new hunt is now to find the owner of these lost treasures.

“I know it’s not in ideal conditions, but it is still valuable and it could be valuable for the owner, so it would be great to find him,” said RebuildSWFL co-founder Nathalie White.
