Winter Weather Advisory in the Cascades until Sunday night.

PORTLAND, Oregon — We’re going to be looking at more showers heading into Sunday, with some dry windows during the later part of the morning, but it’s still going to be a wet day. Rainfall amounts could be as high as .50″ of rain to .75″.

There’s a Winter Weather Advisory in the Cascades above 4,000′ feet through the day Sunday. Sticking snow at pass level is expected Saturday night into Sunday morning.  Accumulations at 5,000′ and higher could reach a foot plus this weekend.

We see a dramatic pattern shift next week.

Wednesday brings a partly sunny sky and highs in the 60s.  Thursday through next weekend should be clear and warm. We’ll make the 70s Thursday and likely be in the 80s Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday.
