Shower and storm chances continue

On and off storm chances this weekend… Trending drier for Sunday with a slight storm chance.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Overnight

Another round of showers and storms are expected overnight hours into early Sunday morning. Some areas may experience minor flooding during the early morning hours Sunday. Continue to stay weather aware during this unsettled pattern. Overnight temperatures will hover around in the mid 60s areas of patchy fog. 

Tomorrow

Sunday is trending much drier into midday through the afternoon. There’s a slightly higher chance for showers and storms by late afternoon and evening. Temperatures are expected to top out near 80. Stay weather aware Sunday for any pop-up storm.

Next Week

Showers and storms are expected to carry over into Monday with several storms possible during the evening commute. Some areas could experience localized flooding as the area continues to accumulate rainfall. Looking beyond Monday, much drier conditions into midweek and temperatures will top out near 90.
