Shelter-in-place issued due to police activity in Napa

(KRON) — Police activity in Napa prompted a shelter-in-place Monday morning, according to the Napa Police Department.

The shelter-in-place is for the residents of 779 South Freeway Drive. The alert was issued at 7:26 a.m. 

Residents are asked to avoid the area of South Freeway Drive and Imola Avenue. According to Napa PD, Imola Avenue is closed from Colina Court to South Freeway Drive.

The reason for the shelter-in-place has not yet been announced.
