Pathaan is one of the most anticipated upcoming films. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the Siddharth Anand directorial promises high-octane action. The film is touted to be a part of Aditya Chopra’s spy universe. Now, the makers have revealed that Pathaan has an interesting Tom Cruise connection.
Director Siddharth Anand who is best known for films like War and Bang Bang!, opened up about Pathaan’s Tom Cruise connection. He explained, “When one sets out to make the spectacle action film of India with one of the all-time biggest heroes of our country, Shah Rukh Khan, you need to have a champion team that is unified in the vision. Thankfully we got an A-team that came together to push the visual envelope with Pathaan and I was delighted to have someone like Casey O’Neill, who has extensively worked with Tom Cruise, to be by our side.”
For the uninitiated, O’Neill is an Emmy-nominated action director who has choreographed some death-defying stunts in films like Mission Impossible and Top Gun: Maverick, among others. He has also worked on Marvel projects like Captain America Winter Soldier as well.
