SF mayoral debate Monday streaming on KRON4 website

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Monday night’s San Francisco mayoral debate was streamed live on KRON4.com. The debate, which featured all five major candidates vying for the office, was hosted by KRON4’s Terisa Estacio.

The debate is being put on by the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee (SFDCCC) and got underway at 7:30 p.m. Candidates to take part in the debate are:
- Incumbent SF Mayor London Breed
- Former SF Mayor Mark Farrell
- Levi’s scion Daniel Lurie
- SF Board of Supervisors Member Aaron Peskin
- SF Board of Supervisors Member Ahsha Safai
The debate will be held at the University of California College of Law, San Francisco. It is free and open to the public. However, it will also be available to stream on the KRON4 website.
Criteria for the debate was established by a Mayoral Debate Committee consisting of five members of the SFDCCC. The debate will last 90 minutes long and include individual statements from candidates and questions poised by debate moderator, Terisa Estacio.
“The debate is an exciting opportunity for voters to get a closer look at the candidates and their positions and for the candidates to square off and answer some of the pressing issues facing the City of San Francisco,” said KRON4’s Terisa Estacio. “It’s an honor and a privilege to be participating in such an important function of the democratic process.”
