SacRT helping voters get to the polls

(FOX40.COM) — As a way to help get all Sacramento County voters to the polls on Tuesday, Sacramento Regional Transit is offering free rides systemwide.

Free rides are for fixed-route busses, Causeway Connection, Elk Grove e-van, Folsom and Rancho CoroVan, light rails, SmaRT Ride and SacRT GO.

Unlike other promotional free ride events, SacRT will not ask riders for a special code or flyer to ride for free.

To make sure you get on the right bus, train or car to get to your polling place use the SacRT “Plan Your Trip” feature on the agency’s website.
