Happy Golden Wedding Anniversary to Princess Christina of Sweden and Tord Magnuson! Royal Guests and Relatives from around Europe joined the Swedish Royal Family for the Wedding of Princess Christina of Sweden and Tord Magnuson at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on this day in 1974, 50 years ago.

Princess Christina of Sweden married Tord Magnuson in the Royal Chapel of the Royal Palace in Stockholm.

Afterwards, the newlywed bride and groom, were joined by her brother, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, as they waved to crowds from the balcony of the Royal Palace.

Princess Christina wore a Märtaskolan white silk crepe gown with Queen Sofia’s lace veil and the Connaught Tiara.
