River levels for Manatee River at Rye Bridge, Anclote River at Elfers

Below are some of the river flood warnings associated with Debby.

Manatee River at Rye Bridge: Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. The river its record flood stage Monday night at 20.12 feet, it is forecast to go below flood stage on Thursday morning.  The record flood level was 20 feet.

Anclote River at Elfers: The river is expected to crest Wednesday evening around 22 feet. The flood stage is 20 feet. It will go back down below flood stage on Sunday.

Alafia River at Lithia: The river is expected to crest Wednesday evening around 22 feet. Flood stage is 20′. It will then fall below flood stage on Saturday.

NOTE: Manatee County has issued an evacuation notice for the Waterlefe Golf & River Club. The Manatee County Manatee Dam is doing a strategic release that could cause dangerous swift moving water and flooding. They have advised to leave the area NOW. Shelters available. Nolan and Miller Elementary are available at this time. Highwater vehicles are being staged in the area. Call 311 for information. Use 911 for emergencies ONLY.
