[ad_1]

CINCINNATI – Roughly 1,000 prospects showed up at the Rivals Combine Series Saturday at Winton Woods High School to compete for a shot to come back Sunday for the Rivals Camp Series. Among the selections for Sunday’s camp were these prospects that stood out during the day:

Burrus’ frame was eye-catching going through drill lines on Saturday. Standing at 6-foot-4 and 210-pounds, he had the athleticism, explosiveness, and speed to back up his stature. Power Five programs are already taking notice of the talented edge-rusher with Indiana recently extending an offer. MAC programs like Miami (Ohio), Western Michigan and Toledo have also offered. Expect Burrus to continue to rise up the ranks.

Sowells has the prototypical interior lineman build at 6-foot-2, 285-pounds and showed great quickness, balance, and bend during Saturday’s drills. The talented 2025 prospect already has an offer from Louisville and is garnering plenty of other Power Five interest from the likes of Ohio State, Penn State, Georgia and Vanderbilt.

Giordano displayed some flashy athleticism on Saturday morning which paired well with his 6-foot-5, 250-pound frame. Giordano will work out at either defensive end or tight end on Sunday, and he will certainly look the part with his impressive frame. Giordano was recently at Ohio State’s spring game and is also close on a few MAC programs as his recruitment continues to rise.

Grant Beerman (Nick Lucero/Rivals.com)

Beerman passed the eyeball test when he stepped on the field and went on to have one of the most complete combine performances of the day. Beerman has incredible length, is extremely fluid and plays with great bend. Miami (Ohio) and Marshall have already offered and he is receiving interest from a number of Power Five schools including Duke and Pitt.

Josiah Hope

The class of 2026 defensive lineman impressed with his combination of size and athleticism and shocked many upon finding out he is only a freshman in high school. Hope put his incredibly high ceiling on display from start to finish on the day and it was easy to see why he has already garnered interest from the likes of Louisville, Kentucky and Murray State. Everything we saw from the young defensive lineman leads us to believe that he could be a star in the making.
