The state of Kentucky is getting prepared for playoff action on the gridiron, but during the regular season plenty of quarterbacks in the Bluegrass State put up big-time numbers.

Rivals.com highlights some of the state’s top signal-callers, including some stock-risers in the 2025 class and beyond.

STATS: 140-222 (63%), 1,840 yards, 17 touchdowns, five interceptions; 123 rushing yards and five scores.

Boley has been committed to Kentucky since May 18th and is expected to be a mid-year enrollee.

STATS: 204-287 (71%), 2,730 yards, 37 touchdowns, seven interceptions; 408 rushing yards and three scores.

East Carolina is getting one of the states best dual-threat quarterbacks in the 2024 class in Hodge.

STATS: 187-275 (68%), 3,038 yards, 42 touchdowns, three interceptions; 201 rushing yards and five scores.

James has early offers from Old Dominion, Miami (Oh.), and Eastern Kentucky and is also garnering power five interest from Colorado, Louisville, and others.

STATS: 168-244 (69%), 2,531 yards, 35 touchdowns, five interceptions.

O’Hara is a rising sophomore that is making a lot of noise and already holds offers from Kentucky, Western Kentucky, and Eastern Kentucky.

BRADY ATWELL, OWENSBORO CATHOLIC (2025)

STATS: 203-281 (72%), 3073 yards, 45 touchdowns, five interceptions; 444 rushing yards and 11 scores. Atwell put up some stellar dual-threat numbers during the regular season, leading his team to a 10-0 record. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky.

DEUCE BAILEY, BOWLING GREEN (2025)

STATS: 178-259 (69%), 2,629 yards, 30 touchdowns, four interceptions; 68 rushing yards and four scores. The 2025 signal-caller has offers from Miami (Oh.), Eastern Kentucky, and Missouri State early on while Illinois and other power five programs are expressing interest.

BRYCE BUTTON, SOUTH WARREN (2025)

STATS: 160-249 (64%), 2,848, 34 touchdowns, five interceptions; 286 rushing yards and six touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 189-pound prospect has an early offer from Eastern Kentucky with more likely coming down his way.

TREVOR HAVILL, ST. XAVIER (2025)

STATS: 112-181 (62%), 1,366 yards, 11 touchdowns, seven interceptions; 200 rushing yards and ten scores. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound prospect has offers from New Mexico State and Tennessee-Martin and is reclassifying to the 2025 class, giving power five schools more time to evaluate his skillset.

ZANE JOHNSON, TRINITY (2027)

STATS: 112-193 (58%), 1,395 yards, 20 touchdowns, five interceptions. No offers yet for the rising freshman, but Johnson has burst on the scene this season for one of the state’s premier 6A programs, leading them to a 7-3 record.
