Ricky Pearsall honors first responders who helped save his life

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KRON) — San Francisco 49ers rookie Ricky Pearsall may not have been able to play in the Niners game against the New York Jets, but he received the opportunity to honor people who helped save his life. 

Before the Monday Night Football game, the wide receiver honored Sergeant Joelle Harrell and Dr. Lucy Kornblith at Levi’s Stadium. The two professionals were the first responders who helped save his life after being shot in the chest

NY Jets owner takes shot at San Francisco ahead of Niners clash

Pearsall gave Sgt. Harrell and Dr. Kornblith autographed jerseys and autographed 49ers helmets for their heroics.

Monday was also a special night for Pearsall, as it was his 24th birthday.

The Niners defeated the Jets 32-19. 

The 49ers play the Minnesota Vikings at the U.S. Bank on Sept. 15.
