Reyna Hernandez, a small business owner in Renton, has not shown up for work or been seen by family and friends since Feb. 26.

RENTON, Wash. — Renton police now suspect foul play in the disappearance of a local business owner, Reyna Hernandez.

Friends reported to police that Hernandez left her home in the Renton Highlands neighborhood on Feb. 26 and has not shown up for work at her hair salon, answered her phone, or returned home since.

Friends say it’s highly unusual for her not to answer her phone.

Hernandez last told a friend that she was going to a home in South Renton on Tuesday, Feb. 26 between 10 and 10:30 a.m.

Evidence recovered by police indicates that she was taken against her will.

Police believe her car, a white/maroon Ford Flex with WA plates APR9503, is not currently in the area.

Anyone who sees Hernandez or her vehicle is asked to call 911.
