(KRON) — The East Bay turned into the Wild West Monday. Cattle was seen prancing down eastbound Highway 24 near Lafayette.

Video shows three cows running down the shoulder of the highway right before the St. Stephens Drive Hidden Valley Road exit. The cow appears to have escaped from a truck carrying other cattle traveling down Highway 24.

The video then shows at least three people riding horses down the highway after the cow with at least one holding a lasso.

The truck towing the cattle and the people riding horses after the cows eventually caught up with the cows and corralled them back towards the truck.
