EDM.com Class of 2022 star Ray Volpe has returned to Monstercat with his latest earth-shattering single, “HAPPY SONG.”

Don’t let the title fool you. “HAPPY SONG” is a bone-crushing romp, complete with menacing synths, powerful bass and an abundance of mesmerizing vocal samples. It’s a head-banger’s dream, with an unrelenting arrangement that hits harder and harder as more time passes. It’s the perfect display of Volpe’s skill set, demonstrating his masterful ability to blend the ominous with the euphoric.

Volpe has quickly emerged as one of the world’s premier bass music producers. Last year, the young star released his Legend Of The Volpetron EP, which included his breakthrough festival anthem, “Laserbeam.” He’s been on a tear ever since, making his EDC Las Vegas debut last week with even more festivals slated throughout the summer.

“I want to definitely be one of the faces of ‘you can make more than one kind of music and be successful,’ as I know it can be incredibly intimidating as an artist to feel like you might need to stick to one thing,” Volpe told us in an intimate interview last year.
