Rainy Friday quickly approaches

[ad_1]

PORTLAND, Oregon — Thursday was fantastic, with 70s, a clear sky and dry conditions. Friday will be a stark contrast, with temperatures in the low 60s, and more importantly, rain throughout the day. Expect to see the rain roll in early Friday morning before your morning commute, and the day to start off in the upper 40s.

The rain hits the coast first around 4am. Along the coast, there’s a potential for seeing anywhere from .15″ to an inch of rain. In the metro area, we could see up to half an inch of rain, although right now, it’s looking like Portland will likely see around 0.2″. Look for a little mountain snow in the Cascades in elevations about 6000′ as well.

This continues through Friday evening, but by the later hours we should only be dealing with lingering showers. Saturday morning is likely to have some patchy morning fog, but clear up in the afternoon, along with the return of the 70s, which will stick around throughout the weekend.
