Rain chance continues across the Carolinas

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Today

Rain chances will remain high on Thursday with multiple waves of showers. Temperatures will remain below average with highs near 82. Expect scattered to widespread rain in the morning and a chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon. Any strong thunderstorm will be moving slowly, which will elevate the flood threat on already primed soil.

Friday

Areas of fog in the morning.  Skies will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Highs will be in the low 80s.  Look for a few showers and storms in the evening with lows overnight in the low 70s.

Saturday-Sunday

Both days will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 80s. Look for a chance of scattered showers and a few thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening.
