Pop star’s cheeky nude photo stuns fans

Happy birthday, Gwyneth Paltrow!

The actress and Goop mogul marked her 50th birthday with a shiny statement – by painting her body gold, and posing nude.

“⭐️50⭐️,” Paltrow wrote on Instagram alongside the glamour shot.

She also shared more photos to the Goop website, where she said the whole shoot was “about the female gaze and just sense of fun.”

“All I know is that they’re painting me gold and that I have to be naked,” the star said. “I feel so good turning 50, and this is about expressing that sense of energy and optimism that I’m experiencing.”

Los Angeles-based makeup artist Lottie, who was behind the look, said she was going for “golden goddess” for Paltrow.

Days ahead of her birthday, which is September 27, Paltrow wrote an essay on her thoughts about the milestone.

“On September 27, I’ll turn 50,” Paltrow wrote for Goop, alongside a bikini snap where she’s jumping with an expression of joy.

“As I sit here contemplating this idea in the late summer morning, no moisture in the air, breeze moving only the tops of the trees, I strangely have no sense of the time passed.”

Paltrow said that life for her “seems to be getting sweeter” as she ages, and praised her body for its accomplishments as it has carried her through life.

”[My body is] a collection of marks and irregularities that dog-ear the chapters. Scarred from over burns, a finger smashed in a window long ago, the birth of a child. Silver hair and fine lines,” the mother-of-two wrote.

“I accept the marks and the loosening skin, the wrinkles. I accept my body and let go of the need to be perfect, look perfect, defy gravity, defy logic, defy humanity. I accept my humanity.”
