Police surround Cleveland home after car chase

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – A police chase that started in Parma ended in Cleveland with police surrounding a home where the suspect had fled.

The chase started early Tuesday morning at about 2 a.m. Parma police pursued a vehicle for about 15 minutes before suspects fled on foot.

One suspect ran into a house in the 6200 block of Bonna Avenue in Cleveland.

Officers from Cleveland, Parma and the Ohio State Highway Patrol surrounded the home. About 15 minutes later, a FOX 8 crew on the scene reported that the suspect came out and was taken into custody.

There was no word on what prompted the pursuit or if any other arrests were made.
