Police seek witnesses of deadly I-25 EV crash, fire

DENVER (KDVR) — The Lone Tree Police Department is searching for witnesses with video showing a crash on northbound Interstate 25 near Ridgegate Parkway after an electric vehicle crashed and burst into flames, killing one.
The city of Lone Tree said the northbound vehicle struck the median and caught fire, killing the driver. The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. on Monday and closed the interstate in both directions.
On Tuesday, the Lone Tree Police Department said it was “actively seeking witnesses who may have observed the actual accident” on the interstate.
