CLEVELAND (WJW) — Cleveland police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects caught on camera breaking into a CBD store in Ohio City earlier this month.

It happened just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Cleveland Botanical Destination along Detroit Road in Ohio City, according to a Facebook post from police.

The three burglars, all males, reportedly got in by breaking a window then took several CBD- and THC-infused products, according to the post.

According to its website, the shop sells products infused with CBD and THCA, otherwise known as delta-9 THC. Those substances are not regulated under the state’s medical and adult-use cannabis framework.

The shop also is not a state-licensed cannabis dispensary, which are required to store product inside locked vaults, rather than on the sales floor, in order to deter burglaries.

Anyone who recognizes the males or has information on the crime is urged to call Cleveland Second District detectives at 216-623-5217.
