Pittsfield seeks public input on local cable service

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) — The Cable Advisory Committee is hosting two public hearings for residents of Pittsfield. The purpose of these meetings is to gather feedback on the quality of Charter Spectrum Cable.
During the hearings, residents can provide feedback, which will be used in the upcoming negotiations for the next ten-year license. There will not be an opportunity for back-and-forth questions and answers with the Cable Advisory Committee or with the cable company.
The first hearing will be held at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers on Wednesday, March 6. The second hearing will take place on Zoom on Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. Registration is required for the hearing on March 8.
Residents unable to attend the meetings are encouraged to write letters or emails with their comments. Emails should be directed to Committee Clerk Heather Grunin at hgrunin@cityofpittsfield.org. Letters can be mailed to the Cable Advisory Committee c/o Mayor’s Office at 70 Allen Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
