BOSTON (WWLP) – Massachusetts twins, Kaiden and Karter, celebrated their second birthday after being born on a historic date of 2/22/22.

The fraternal twins were born early at 31 weeks at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. According to a news release sent to 22News from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Kaiden was born at 11:25 a.m., at 3 pounds, 7 ounces, while Karter came shortly after at 11:37 a.m., weighing 3 pounds, 8 ounces.

The newborns were cared for at the Intensive Care Unit and an update provided by Brigham and Women’s Hospital said that they are happy, healthy, and excited to celebrate their birthday! This past Thursday the fraternal twins turned two!

Their parents, Heather and Pedro Xavier said, “They are fast and furious and enjoy exploring new foods – eggs, yogurt, and berries are their favorites. Kaiden is loving and curious and his brother Karter loves to snuggle with his blanket “Dubby”.

The Xavier’s are happy to announce that a baby sister is joining the family this summer!
